The food is great, a bit more authentic than the other Mexican restaurants in Alpine and I believe it's a teensy bit cheaper as... well. I've been happy with the service both times I've been here. No A/C! Like, ALL their doors were open, and the bathroom windows too..... It's not like it was 65* outside! The food... was.........good. This place has been around since I was a kid. I went in the other day to have lunch with my family. The food is consistently... amazing, large portions, and the service is fast and friendly. Very laid back atmosphere, and the staff are definitelypassionate about the business. Read more

The food was really good. I had the tacos Al pastor, and the other person had a tamale and civicie tostada. Portions seem... small, but they we're filling....so..... Prices seemed fair. The tacos Al pastor had a really really good flavor, and a tonof meat for a street taco size. Service was pretty good, menu had a good selection. My only nit, but given everything else,not worth a star...the menu items do not always say what the item is. So if you don't know all the items on a Mexicanmenu...you will need your cell phone. Called in an order for a carnitas plate. My first time ordering from this place and it was pretty good. They didn't skimp on... anything. Gave me a large portion of crispy carnitas, 3 or 4 tortillas, Pico and lettuce, peppers and onions, rice,beans and awhole side of fresh guacamole in its own container. Everything was fresh and tasted good. The salsa had a good flavor as well.Will be back to try other menu items. Read more
