We were looking for a quick bite to eat for lunch while in Alpine and wanted something truly local. We had the Hangover Dog and... Chicago Dog. Both were awesome, the toasted bun and the dog itself was grilled and tasty, the chili, onions, Fritos, and cheesewere great!! The Chicago dog with pickles peppers onions and tomatoes was so full of flavor that I didn't want to share. Ifyou are in the area I would definitely stop on for a dog. Read more
I love the variety of the different types of hot dogs that this place has! My family got The Green Chile Cheese Dog, The El... Pastor, The Artisan, and the Frito Pie as a hot dog and we loved all of them! The chili is not spicy so I recommend gettingjalapeños with it. Cow Dog- Let me start by saying, oh my goodness these hotdogs are the bomb! I highly recommend the Cow Dog, this is a must when... it comes to Alpine Tx. I absolutely hate hot dogs but I will say that this food truck has changed my mind. I will only eat ahotdog if it?s from here! The Cow Dog I ate was the big popper dog & I paid 6 dollars for it! The Cow Dog was huge, worth everypenny! The hotdog is what you think but more, if you like jalapeños poppers this Cow Dog will not disappoint!
