A great mix of ?American? and authentic Chinese food. It?s pretty hard to find good, authentic Chinese food (AKA. not orange... chicken), so I?m excited to try more of the menu. I?ve dined-in but have also gotten take out multiple times. It?s not the most?romantic? or fancy place for a date, but it?s a good location for a casual lunch or dinner. So far I?ve had the pan-friednoodles, beef chow fun, house fried rice, and salt and pepper eggplant. The pan-fried noodles are more of an authentic dish butvery tasty (FYI - the noodles are pan-fried which means they are hard and crunchy). Not for everyone, and it?s a bit of anacquired taste if you?re used to really soft and well-cooked noodles. The salt and pepper eggplant is a must-have for anappetizer. I don?t even like eggplant, but the fried eggplant and delicious salt and pepper spices made it taste amazing. I washappily surprised. Beef chow fun was great, the noodles were soft. Food came out hot and fresh. Our waiter, John Wu was nice and friendly. We sat down at 4:30 when they opened on a Saturday and... we got our food super fast!!! We asked for check at 5:00 pm because we eat fast! Lol. Two of us dined for less than $60 butshould have been less if we realized how huge the portions where. I will be back! Absolutely the Best Chinese Food. I will start with the food because this is the absolute star of the show... easily worth all... five stars! You cannot go wrong with any of the Salt & Pepper appetizers. We love the tofu, but the seasoning which has asubstantial but delightful kick makes any of them spectacular. Sorry our picture was taken about 2/3rds of the way though...because it is too good to wait for photos. We tried the seafood pan fried noodles. AMAZING! As you can see from the picturesit is visually stunning with the best boi choi I've ever had. This is a delicious meal. great portion sizes as well. Thepan-fired dumplings are well-prepared and a delicate mix of flavors. Our daughter loves them. They do not pack the "wow" ofthe other dishes but not everyone wants that "wow"! This trip we had the Cashew chicken as well. The sauce is light butspectacular. We ask for a second order of white rice... for a simple $1 add-on. We have tried the sizzling plates on previousvisits and they were great as well. For a couple, an entree and an appetizer will probably be more than enough. But if youenjoy having a left-over feast. (This is why we have extra rice. They serve hot tea in a pot with loose tea leaves. A Jasmineand an Oolong. The oolong would always be my choice a good earthy pot of tea that gets more robust as the meal progresses withvery little bitter edge. This strip mall restaurant is densely packed and not a great spot for a romantic date. But it isclean and well maintained. Well lit. Service is very good... They use a team approach and you will get frequent visits to thetable. This may not be your choice if you prefer a professional, committed server. Yummy House Chinese is delicious food,served well. If you need some Chinese in your belly, Yummy House is the place for you, for just 21.38$ under the lunch special menu, we were... able to get free tea and two well presented and tasting meals. The blending of flavors and the customer service really entrancedme, not to mention as well that the location itself was ordain in cleanliness and decor, being spacious enougb that you couldfit parties of five or more and then include smaller parties on the side.
