They weren?t lying when they said crispy chicken because it was burnt to a crisp. My four cheese melt wasn?t melted and I had to... ask for the sauce that is suppose to be served with it. My friend had to ask multiple times if they had forgotten about her 4strips of bacon before we heard them in the kitchen saying they needed bacon. Our server was wearing a hoodie and had to informus that he worked there because we had no clue. My friend paid for her food and got her change and not even 30 seconds later thesame person who gave her change asked if she had paid yet and gotten her change. Worst IHOP I've ever been to. Server was confused and forgetful the entire time, had to repeatedly ask for silverware. They... weren't even busy maybe 5 tables. None of the food tasted good. My chicken sandwich was cold after waiting a half hour. Sent itback and it was still luke warm at best. Read more
We had waited a 2 hrs for our food to come out. Multiple people walked out we stayed. I got the turkey and gravy dinner. No... Turkey gravy no garlic bread. My pancakes was rubbery I had lots of corn and very little potatoes and really little of theturkey. My husband and son went to iHOP in Alton this morning since it?s his first day of the new school year, and the waitress was... extremely rude. She rushed them even though they were the only ones there, yelled and complained that she was having a bad day,plus the food was not good at all. Safe to say we won?t be going there again. The food was alright, could?ve been better. But our waitress she deserves 5 stars she was absolutely amazing. Where they sat us... it was super hot and we were sweating just sitting there waiting for our food, plus when we were sat there was a little kidrunning around in the kitchen area without shoes on and then 10 mins later we see one of the works caring the kid back towardsthe kitchen area. Waiter was overwhelmed and had just gotten an surgery on her leg. She dropped my butter on the table and said she would come... back to clean it up. But I realized she had 15 other tables besides mine so I cleaned up myself. I waved down a young manworking there to get some butter and some hot sauce for my omelette. Waiter came back but, to take an order for a differenttable. The bacon in my omelette was pink and grey and kind of gummy. The spinach left a grit feeling in my mouth like it wasrinsed off before they cooked it in my omelette. They were super busy we had a 15 minute wait before being seated. Haven?t been to I-Hop in years due to so many locations being permanently closed and we were very pleased with the service Ranae... and the staff provided . Ranae went above and beyond . Will be returning ! Read more
Our waitress was a little slow and acted like she didn't want to be there much. Other than that, I believe it was the manager,... she was nice and the food was good. For Alton, it's a pretty good place. Read more
