I've used Alton Village pizza for years. You can get a decent sub or pizza for a fair price. Yesterday I ordered online,... arrived at the given time but my order wasn't even started. Okay, so I sat and waited. Both of the front girls were pleasant,but one had her mask down around her neck and the other girl didn't even have one on. Lunchtime Pizza and Steak Bomb sub ordered inside from a lost girl that did not offer a recept. We waiting inside this dusty,... old, outdated dining area for our food for 40 mins. As we waited for our order we watched same lost girl walk around dining areawith a dazed and confused look aproaching all other customers asking is this your food order. When our order was ready, samelost girl had allowed 5 random customers to breathe the word NO accross/on our food. Both the pizza and sub were flavorless,greasy and bland. The steak bomb had the addition of grill scrapings and grit that had to be scraped off the grill (proballyfrom something cooked last week). The pizza crust was so chewy my jaw was hurting after 2 slices. I'd rather drive extra 20 minsto Gilmanton or Wolfeboro.,,, and oh yea,, Service sucks if you could kot tell from reading this review. Went on a very busy day and they managed to keep it orderly and get everything done. I appreciate the hard work of the employees... and their ability to work through the chaos. The pizza was also great. Read more
Horrible customer service! This was the 2nd time I was there first time bad experience with the kids behind the counter. Today... placed an order was told 35 mins reasonable on a Friday night I got there had to wait another 25 as I could see my food sittinggetting cold. I had to warn everything up at home. I got a steak and cheese and the steak tasted horrible and was very fatty.Owner standing in thw back not helping with the 50 customers in the front. I do not recommend this place. Very hot night,they told us it would be an hour wait and we gladly put our order in regardless. We were not disappointed as they... always deliver amazing food! I stopped by Friday night for some dinner to go. Everything we got was tasty, reasonably priced, and ready within about 15-20... minutes. And they were busy!! My pizza was tasty, and my daughter's food was delicious as well. Check it out if you are in thearea.???? Read more
Decent food, terrible service. We placed an online order through their website and paid in advance. When we went to pick it up... at the scheduled time, we were passed from employee to employee, each of which said they had no record of our order. We canceledand asked for a refund, they said they would get to it when they get to it. Called hours later to get an update on our refundand they still had no update. We were put in touch with the co-owner who had no regard for customer service, he completely shutus down and was very rude. Eventually we were able to talk to his brother, who walked us through the process. While the brotherwas nice, they still lack knowledge of the system they use for online ordering. We still have not gotten a refund, and will notbe going there in the future. Hopefully they can turn their quality of service around as there is a lot of potential forrestaurants in that area. We were staying in Alton for a wedding and was in mood for pizza. Service is outstanding pizza was excellent especially the 4... cheese with garlic and basil. Definitely stop in! Read more
