First…. server Seth on a Sunday night is a gem. Second Medium rare prime rib with caramelized onions, and an upgrade to the... wedge salad (candied walnuts and blue cheese chunks) is worth it. The sourdough, pretzel, and raisin bread basket is a nicetouch. Good drinks, speedy service, and good food. Honestly, the casino at Prairie Meadows is pretty lame! We were excited to try this. We sat at the bar with Bailey as the bartender. A Veteran across the way was sitting by himself and... mentioned it was his birthday so I paid his bill without him knowing. I overhear him telling Bailey he was paying the tip incash so when I signed my cc receipt (because she asked I do it right away) I confirmed he already tipped her. She reluctantlytold me he has. Red flag #1. We ordered a bottle of wine and our dinner. Our salads came out quick. Then….. nothing. We askedfor a bread basket. We ate all the bread. Then….. nothing. People came, ate, drank, got their bills and left. Bailey wouldbarely look at us. We made multiple bets. Finally when our bottle of wine was gone we asked Bailey about our meal. She said shewould check. Some scurrying happened. Another 20 minutes went by until she finally fessed up she must have not out the order in.We are 2 hours in at this point. We said don’t bother and she brought us a check. I said no I wasn’t paying for it. She gota manager who was VERY less than apologetic. Made it sound like it was OUR fault the order was never submitted. They did compthe 2 salads and wine. And acted like we should be grateful. Probably will opt for a hotdog and some popcorn at the concessionstand next time. Read more
First time here. Salad excellent good blue cheese dressing. Large thick juicy bone-in pork chop was cooked perfectly & nice... flavor, side of mashed potatoes. Wife had chicken Alfredo was excellent. Servers very friendly only issue had to request breadbowl and then a refill which never came, but didn't need because main course serving size was very large. Recommend making a reservation here simply due to the high foot traffic that could arrive anytime. Adreyn did amazing job with... us and is a great server. I had the NY Strip and split the spinach dip washing down with an smoked old fashion and an Seven MileMerlot glass. So far the best place I have found in the whole state of Iowa! Read more

The restaurant had a cool look to it. The atmosphere was dark and very quiet but it was a Wednesday when we ate there. Our... server was wonderful and attentive. The spin dip and complimentary bread were our favorites! The fried chicken came out pipinghot but was super dry, as was the pork chop but all of the sides were delicious. Read more
