I don't go here at all. However, I grew up with my mom taking us here. I was feeling nostalgic and had my favorite that I hadn't... had in years. The peanut buster parfait. It was incredible. Absolutely ridiculous! I?ve went there a dozen times in the last 6 months and the lobby is closed. ?Short staffed? is the answer... I get from some teenybopper. $10 for a shake and you can?t hire enough people to open the lobby? Boooooo! Dairy QUEEN? More likeDairy CLOWN! The ice cream is great! Be sure to get there well before closing. Most of the time there is a long line. Twice we didn?t get... ice cream because they closed before we made it far enough in the drive in. The crunch cone is worth the wait! Read more
Waited in the drive thru line for over 30 mins for my blizzard to be half melted, they didn?t hand it to me upside down like... they are supposed to; plus all the food was cold and some of the fries were still frozen like they were not cooked all the way.I?m very disappointed. Read more
Went to Des Moines on a trip and stop at this particular DQ. Very disappointed. First, the workers spend more time joking around... than attending the front. Even when they saw I was at the counter, just looked and kept joking around. I get my food and looksmore a kids meal than a $7 meal. (As you can see in the photo). They forgot the drink so I went to the counter to ask for them.Same thing. Saw me and no one come. Had to call them and ask for the cups. Same issue to pick up the ice creams. Snickers blizzard was great as usual. Onion rings are amazing. Chicken tenders were dry and not very good, definitely will not... order them again. They do give "Pup-Cups" for no extra charge if you have your dog(s) with you, which makes it an exciting tripfor my two. Read more
I was very disappointed. We waited for over 10 minutes for our food. The tea tasted so bitter it was undrinkable. The fries... weren't even cooked (think wet potatoes). And my barbecue chicken strips barely had any sauce on it. We eat here a lot and it'sbeen in a steady decline. I know we have a shortage of people willing to work, but this... this was just not caring. :( Read more
Bad location. I paid $12 for food I don't even want to eat. Check this out. Biggest rip off ever. People don't just have money... to go get other food or do whatever sometimes. Just do your job guys. Read more
