In one word, Delicious! Salmon was perfectly prepared and plated. Everyone in our group had a different entree. All 4 entrees... were absolutely delicious and a nice portion size. Bread for the table was super soft and tasty. We also had 3 different cakesfor dessert. The chocolate was the BEST. This place is fabulous. Authentic Italian and old style ambiance. Service is always excellent (had Carrie this time). Their... seafood is superb but so is their filet. Always perfect to end with choosing from their homemade dessert tray. Read more
We were visiting Altoona and looked online for a good place to eat. Saw this place had pretty good reviews and decided to give... it a try. We didn't have reservations so they seated us at a tiny table in a corner. No problem, we understand. Waitress waspolite, but disorganized. Service was slow as well. Didn't understand all of this as the place was only about 1/3 full. Oureggplant and chick parms were terrible. Food was luke warm at best. Chicken undercooked with little taste. Garlic bread wasburnt. Sauce tasted like it was generic canned. Waitress never asked how things were. Didn't even eat half of our meals. Shouldhave said something but what would they do? Not charge us? Give us new orders? Given the situation we just decided to pay andleave. Usually we give a place more than one chance, but not this place. Read more
