Stayed in Altoona for a night before heading to State College for a football game and decided to check this place out because it... was close to our hotel. man, it did not disappoint! The unlimited spaghetti was a great deal, nobody I was with ordered it but Igot a side of spaghetti which was delicious. My entree of baby back ribs was great, the meat came right off the bone! Our serverwas incredibly friendly and hospitable, I wish I could remember his name to give him a shoutout in this review. Vibes were greattoo. Server was very attentive. He providers amazing service. Food was not up to pare. Ribs were not cooked enough. Fish was not... cooked. Had to send it back. Buffalo chicken sandwich was dipping with hot sauce made the bun soggy and too hot to eat. When wewent to enter the building two elderly ladies were trying to open the doors and were unable to because the handles are nothandicap accessible. Read more
At Jethro's we didnt have to wait for a table. The staff was prompt, the food was hot and delicious and the drinks were ice... cold. It's tucked back from the main road and totally worth going a few feet further than the what is right on the main road. Ihad the pulled pork sandwich and it was so good. Food was good took my mom for her bday. They sat us next to a big window and 6 flies hung out with us the entire time I felt... like I was try to fly away I swatted so much. Our waiter never gave us his name but he was not much of a waiter. He pretty muchignored us. Read more
Super Friendly staff. Great location, good decor Food was not what I was told it would be... The Carolina Sauce wings were just... hot wings (like the hot wings my buddy bought) minus any sauce... (I dont do hot wings - huge let down). Steak was far from theorder of Medium well, and a $9 skewer of 5 shrimp, and not even cocktail sauce. (There was a light char on the tails - noseasoning). BBQ Chicken was pretty good - just a pair of institutional breasts... But it was good enough, and it filled thevoid. The food was tasty - good value for your money. Very nice and clean inside. We didn't dine outside on the patio, but it looks... lovely. I would like to go back and sit outside next time! Our waitress was super helpful and attentive. Thanks! Read more
Staff was quick and delightful, very active and accommodating. Food was okay and reasonably priced, I would recommend as a lunch... restaurant for sure! Salad dressing is a little light (viscosity wise) and in general, the food is light and cooked very good.Good if your looking for a meal on the lighter side. Would visit again! Read more
