Thank you, Longhorn... you made my day. My wife and I had an amazing lunch date at Longhorn recently. From the moment we... stepped inside, we were welcomed and seated with professional courtesy. Our server/waitress, Samantha B, was AWESOME. She hasbeen at Longhorn for 10+ years and knows her business. We both had a delicious side salad and the ribeye steak. Cooked toperfection and served promptly by the ever-attentive Samantha. Mid bite I thought, this can't get any better... then we haddessert. Wow! The atmosphere is great and very clean. Food was tasty. Negatives were the hostesses and servers. We had a trainee, her trainer,... and a third person dropping off food and drinks. Our toddler?s food was forgotten. Since our food came out in increments, wewere expecting someone to bring it- all wait staff seemed to have disappeared. We really enjoyed dinner here tonight. The ribeye is the best in town hands down. Strawberry margarita was perfect. Only... deduction was we ordered the onion appetizer and had 2 large hunks of chicken hogging up the platter where we could've had moreonion. Read more
I ordered the lava cake, however I didn?t see the chocolate lava inside. instead, there is just an ice cream on the top of the... chocolate cake! therefore I gave a four star instead of five stars because I?m quite demanding when I went to a restaurant andtry to comment in google map. Recommend pre reservations prior to arrival. Very easy to check in on line via the app. Service was top notch, we were also at... peak hour for dinner Service, 6pm on Saturday evening. We ordered onion appetizer and seafood corn chowder soup, both arrivedpiping hot from the kitchen. Our server, Hannah, was very pleasant and attentive to our needs. My first time at a Long Horn chain and I will be returning. Our waitress, Shannon was amazing. She was quick to get our drink... order as well as the appetizer order. Brought drinks out directly and let us know exactly how long the appetizer had left untilit came out. She was knowledgeable on recommending a good wine for me, Shannon was friendly, greeting smile. My boyfriendtravels for work and he said she was the best server he had ever encountered. That experience alone is worth going, the food wasa little on the saltier side but still delicious. I watched Shannon multiple task and serve three different tables at once, shesaid she had been at Long Horn for 10 years and says loves it there, it definitely shows!
