Solid place in Altoona. Was in town for work. Sat at the bar, service was good. Menu had a lot of good choices, TVs playing an... array of sports. Draft beer selection was good, would have appreciated more choice in local brew vs anything you can get at thestore. Prices were reasonable. Plenty of seating. I would return with the family. The fries come out on a pizza pie plate when you order them they're like a little over $8, great deal. And happy hour best in... the area. Fridays and Saturdays are awesome times to go. And the beef and double cheddar is awesome. Have a great time Read more
Great place to eat. Very large sandwich. Note: when wait staff ask if you want fries and Cole slaw, unless you mention that you... want it on the side, you will be surprised like me, when the sandwich arrived with everything on it. Fresh brewed iced tea wasgreat also. Read more
Good food, good service. We shared a Pastrami and Cheese sandwich and boneless chicken with Sweet Heat sauce. The sandwich has... fries and coleslaw IN the sandwich. Normally I don't like coleslaw, it it was good. Not wet and creamy (I hate that). Definitelyget alcohol during Happy Hour. The Drunk Duck is tasty, but sadly not very strong. Read more

Waitress was very attentive. Asked the greeter to sit more inside than outside since we thought it would rain. There's some nice... outdoor seating along the one side. It was happy hour from 5 to 7 weekday for most drinks being half price - excluding slushies,red bull, and sometime else that I don't remember but it didn't impact our order decisions. Got the big and delicious Duck,Duck, Juice in a fishbowl glass with a souvenir rubber duck! So cute. Had raspberry and banana and rum. Tasty! It was only $4.25and a bottle of Yuengling was only $2. They have lots on tap that you can see but don't have drink menu available. The table wesat at was a bit tight. I would wonder how some bigger guests would feel. There are tables that have tall and low seats thatwould be more accommodating for them. Food was good. Fresh. Didn't seem to take long to fill order even with a fair crowdduring supper time on Thursday. Signs on door say they are short-staffed like everywhere right now, but service was good.Overall = good experience. Lots of TV screens to see with sports on. Even got to bring home some leftover cheese steak. It waseasily customizable. Got it without peppers and onions and no tomatoes but did get lettuce and mayo. Got the Original sandwichwhich has pastrami with cheese, tomato, french fries, and coleslaw. Not customized. Also got mozzarella cheese wedges as anappetizer since they were out of the pretzels sadly. They were hot and came with yummy marinara. Would recommend going here. This location was great and the experience was even better! We unknowingly got there with only 20 minutes to spare and our... waitress Claire was spectacular and made our experience much much better and ensured we got exactly what we wanted and wasextremely kind and personable.
