It's been years since my family has been to Ox Yoke Inn. Not as great as I remember as a kid but wasn't horrible either. Not... busy at all at 5pm on a Monday night (Halloween). One order was for the oven baked steak and we got pot roast. My sirloin wascooked to perfection, no complaints. The corn tasted old or overcooked, potatoes and gravy were good. The service was lacking,by the time the server got to us to order drinks, we were ready to order everything. Food came out fairly quick, server came tocheck up once, then we waited & waited & waited for our server to come back. For not being very busy, I feel the servershould've been more attentive. What a wonderful place food is excellent. Staff is so friendly and down to earth. Prices are very reasonable and plenty of... parking in back. It's a must on anyone's list to just have a coold drink or something delicious to eat. Read more
THE FOOD IS AMAZING!!!!! I got a Chicken Schnitzel and my friend got a Smoked Bratwurst Sandwich. The mashed potatoes, green... beans and even the strawberry jam is perfect! Definitely worth the price! Read more
Family style dinner with plenty of food and they would bring more if you want it. Dessert was delicious also. Highly recommend.
Just had Mother's Day brunch. Food was excellent, wine was wonderful and put was homemade. We were here in 2021 and because... of COVID the quality of the food was diminished. They have now been able to regain their former quality of food. I give themtwo thumbs up. Read more
Took my mom out to dinner, she loves the fried chicken and I enjoy the schnitzel. Always have to take a container of strawberry... preserves to go. This time we tried the dumplings, if you haven't tried these then you simply must. Never have had bad serviceor food. Read more
Good tasting food, good amount so bring your hunger! Spatzle with cheese and bacon, Ruben burger, and open-faced roast beef with... mashed potatoes and gravy were very enjoyable for our meal. It wasn't crowded, but did make reservations when we got there for atime that suited us. Only had one waitress by that time, she had her hands full, so I didn't get to try the excellent lookingdessert tray with many choices of pies and cakes...darn, maybe next time! Read more
Stopped here for dinner after walking around the Amana colonies. We each ordered fried chicken, pork chops and a Parmesan... crusted walleye. We ordered their family style menus and had beets, green beans, corn, mashed potatoes and gravy, cottagecheese, and a broccoli salad to share. The sides are refillable but the portions are so big we had to take out some with thefirst batch. The entrees were all very good too. They had a variety of pies and cakes and we had a good slice of rhubarbstrawberry pie. Read more
