Dining at The Metropolitan is always a lovely experience. The salmon, steak, and chicken dishes are all delicious. Don’t skip... the unique date cake for dessert. Usually a great place but far from it this evening. Went to have a nice relaxing evening and hear some live music. On the plus... side there was live music. However, it was impossible to hear over the sports bar atmosphere. They had a football game on the TVand had a group of people screeching at the top of their lungs and banging the furniture into the bar. Shocked that the managerdidn't shut it down. I guess I didn't realize this was now a rowdy sports bar and not a classy establishment. The only savinggrace was our great server. Read more

Great atmosphere, fantastic staff, and large bourbon and wine selection. We were very happy to pop into to this place, the bar... is perfect for drinks and the bartender was super helpful. Definitely recommend the TX Bourbon Cobbler! Read more

Good atmosphere. Food quick and tasty. Large drink selection. Had bbq chicken Flatbread and pulled pork with pimento cheese... sliders. Sadly they were out of fried olives and pecans. Really wanted to try that. Update: they had fried olives today,they were very nice. Here's my issue. I ordered the strawberry spritzer for my drink. After a bit they came back and saidthey were out of strawberries, so my drink would not include them. When they broug5 my drink it was very plain. The staff thenproceeded to tell me they forgot the champagne in my drink. NO attempt was made to right the situation. Basically I had ginand lime juice as my $12 signature cocktail. I was charged full price. The charcuterie board was nice though, but not niceenough to entice me to return. Btw, we were one of only two tables at noon. So I gave two stars because it is a cool place,just don't expect your order to be completed but it will be full price. Read more

I am giving this place a 5 star review. The waitress Torri and her hospitality, service, cleanliness, with the restaurant was... perfect. The imagery, was excellent, the noise not too loud, like places I've been before. Now for the food. I chose primesteak, with garlic mash potatoes, and brussel sprouts, in a red wine glass. To drink a Johnny Walker Black scotch. This meal,and drink came out perfect. Definitely going to recommend this place for anyone coming through. Price was reasonable,considering what I had and where I was. Would come back if I lived here. Maybe they could open up one in Tulsa Oklahoma? LoL Read more
