I always order from this location but usually do take out. This time I chose delivery because I just got back from vacation and... I?m unpacking and doing laundry etc. I chose contactless so I wouldn?t have to see anyone. So I hear a knock at the door and Iwait a minute. Here I am, no makeup, no bra, hair not done, wearing ratty old sports pants and an old T-shirt, barefoot. I openthe door and there?s a man standing there !! It was very embarrassing for me and I?m sure I scared him to death. Pizza Hutplease inform your drivers when a customer chooses contactless delivery!!! On the upside, the food arrived very fast ! Fast and easy pick up the girl at the window saved my pizza as I reach out to get it my foot hit the gas lol I had one hand on... the box and she didn't let go of the other side so between the two of us it stayed up right so I could reverse park and get bothhands on it lol. Order a pizza and bone out wings. Was told told 15 to 20 mins. Went to go pick up the pizza and was told I never order a... pizza. It was late Friday and the employee probably didn't feel like doing anything. I was a bit upset what kind of customerservice is that. This Pizza Hut is by far not only the worst run pizza place in Amarillo, but possibly the worst restaurant. Time after time they... give you the worn order either delivery or pick up. Most recently I called to get the new special. I was told it wasn?tavailable because they didn?t have the Cinnabon?s, I asked if I could substitute or just not get them. I was immediately hung upon. Easy to order online and the pizza and wings were very hot and delicious.
I ordered one pizza with pineapple and bacon, one with pepperoni and mushrooms. I got one with pineapple and bacon, one with... pepperoni and bacon. Not a huge deal, but I think they need to pay more attention to the orders. Then the delivery guy asked ifI was visiting from out of town. I?m at a hotel. Yeah. Then asked where from. We ordered a Large pepperoni, mushroom & black olive tonight: 8/30/22. The back crust was not done and very doughy in middle.... There were ONE to TWO pieces of pepperoni on EVERY piece. I think the black olives are overloaded and barely any pepperoni, only5 mushrooms on the whole large pizza. THEY APPEAR TO HAVE CHANGED: pepperoni and their mozzarella. If you've grown up eatingtheir pepperoni.....this is not their usual. This cheaper type of pepperoni is much thinner and completely flavorless. Also,they are using a lower grade mozz which is tasteless and chewy and very rubbery!! The crust had no garlic butter or any oliveoil brushing. We have always ordered this same pizza and it has always been decent for pizza hut. Never again! My husband and Iate 1 piece each and threw the whole thing away. It was inedible. They lost us as long time customers with these cheap changes. Read more
