Last night, my fiancé and I ate here to celebrate my birthday. Until this point I hadn’t been able to try any of the triad of... restaurants (Cada Vez, Metropolitan-A Speakeasy, and X-Steakhouse) found in the middle of town square village. First to startoff, we had stuffed Jalapeños with a glass of Primus Wine and a Caramel Apple Sangria. For our main course I had the ShrimpPlatter while my fiancé had the Sweet Chili Glazed Salmon with a White Chocolate Pumpkintini and a Pomegranate Martini.Overall, we loved the food. The portion sizes were big for how much the food costs. Not only that but the food was cooked reallywell and were delicious. You will definitely be satisfied with the food for what you will pay for. Another tidbit, if you go andwant to drink, definitely try the cocktails. They are every bit as delicious as they’re look being described in the cocktailmenu. So definitely try the cocktails. You won’t be disappointed. Next time we go, we will definitely have to go specificallyfor the steaks since their steaks come from beef locally raised since Amarillo is the heart of the Beef and Cattle Industry inthe US. We’ve gone a few times and everything we’ve had is so yummy! The staff is incredibly sweet and the server was very helping... in helping us select an alcoholic beverage that we’d enjoy! (Very knowledgeable) we had the Salmon Oscar. Absolutely perfect! Read more
Went for lunch today our waiter was top notch! Never had to wait for refills on anything, made sure everything was good. We... ordered the shrimp platter before he brought it out the general manager said the coconut shrimp were not to his liking so hemade them re-do that part and brought it out personally. I and 3 friends wanted a good steak house to enjoy a night of good food and company. The company was good the food not so much.... X- steakhouse has a very nice atmosphere and very good staff. Three of us had the ribeye, they were cooked correctly mediumrare but very tough. My friend ordered the filet and lobster he said the lobster was good but the filet was also very tough. We were all very disappointed in are steaks. Not sure how the non-steak dishes are but if you go for the steak we didn't havegood luck. Read more
Dinner Rolls served with every meal, Prime Rib Soup so delicious I wanted more, Salmon Oscar could have used a tad more sauce... but very yummy overall and Filet Steak w/ Diane Sauce…left too stuffed for dessert but will be back…friendly staff thatworked together as a team making the whole experience lovely Read more

Our server was training a new server, and they were both amazing! Don't forget, our country, and businesses are having a hell of... a time finding people willing to work, so it was good to see this! They were very attentive and came around at what I would sayis the appropriate amount of time to check back. I had the grilled shrimp with asparagus and wild rice. Both were delicious! Myhusband had the rib-eye with crab cake and wild rice. Again, delicious and cooked perfectly. We were seated in the bar diningarea and the atmosphere was very nice.
