This location is just like any other black bear diner location I?ve ever been to. And that means it was phenomenal. It has such... a comfortable atmosphere that is welcoming and to top it off, the food is amazing and so is the service. All the staff seemedgenuinely happy to be there. Service was kind of slow, I am understanding though because I know a lot of places are short staffed. What is frustrating is... that the whole time I don?t even know who are actual server was. I think it was an older lady, but she came around after anothergirl already took our order because no one was helping us. We got the volcano, which used to be a lot better. It used to bethree huge pancakes, Now it is two medium sized and one small one. All for a higher price. It was very disappointing as blackbear used to have my favorite pancakes, now it is hardly worth the cost. We?ve been to Black Bear in the past but this location was new to us. I?m giving it 3 stars for the following- ?? We were... seated quickly but the service was really slow. We waited for our food for 40 min. Server was sweet but inconsistent atfilling drinks etc. ?? The Hot Chocolate was super thick and not mixed well no I wasn?t able to finish it?so request itaccording to your specifications. ?? They were out of chocolate milk, only served Pepsi products, and no V8 juice. Not aproblem if you?re a water drinker. ?? The biscuits which I usually love were quite dry. Our party ordered biscuits & Gravywhich had a poor gravy to biscuit ratio so I recommend ordering a side of gravy. ?? We ordered a cinnamon roll and got aFrench toast entree. Evidently they don?t have cinnamon rolls. ?? Ordered egg over medium and it came with an abundance ofrunny whites inside. ??Food was mediocre nothing special. My experience really deserves a 1 star review but it was all the waitresses problem. The Food was great and the place nice. We... came in around 7:00 with a little rush. We ordered our food and then waited about 40 minutes until our Waitress came back. Sheasked us if we wanted the bill before we got our food. We told her we hadn't got our food yet and Her response was, "oh I'm sosorry I'll go check on that". It was so obvious that we didn't have our food because there were no plates on the table. Duringour whole stay No refills for water were offered. Our Salads and Soups never came out until all of the food was ready. The Saladthat my mom got came with a dressing and she didn't get it until after she ate the salad. We had to tell the waitress 3 timesabout one order! Another order was messed up so we had to wait for it to get cooked. My little sister got a cheeseburger whichwas undercooked and very bloody. She got halfway through it until she noticed because she was so hungry. We had them remake hersand get it to go because we couldn't wait. Thanks for the generosity of the cook who came out and talked with us, we received 3free meals to compensate for the problems. This did help a little bit. Read more

We stopped here for a late meal and caught them just before they closed. I loved the Blackened Salmon and my son couldn't get... enough of his Ciabatta Black Bear Burger. The staff is great and the food is tasty. Definitely worth at least one visit. We willbe back again and again. Read more
