My wife and I ate lunch at Chili's, American Fork, Utah, today. We had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated and that was the... only negative aspect of our visit. 3 years ago I might have withheld a star for that, but clean, empty booths and tables wereclearly visible, suggesting they, like so many other businesses, are understaffed. Since they message your mobile phone whenyour table is ready, we ran an errand and returned just as they were ready for us. Our server was friendly, helpful and prompt.Our order was delivered in a reasonable amount of time and was correct. The food was delicious. The facility was clean andpleasant. We told our server we needed take-out boxes for our leftovers, and she came back right away with the perfectassortment of containers for what we needed, plus a bag to carry them in. In my experience, no other restaurant does thatparticular thing so well. We went there today to take advantage of the generous Veterans Day discount and we were treatedextremely well. Place was super busy, but our server was super nice and attentive. Food was unusually delicious (not to say Chilis is bad, I... adore Chilis, but it's usually Just Okay). I got the avocado steak and it was soooo good. Read more
This was our stop from the Temple, there was an hour wait time but once we were in the service was great, the staff friendly and... informative. I tried their new BBQ Brisket burger and it was delicious. Is recommend trying it out on your next visit if youhaven't already. Read more
Dear Chili’s, This location and the St.George location are both so very run down. What happened to the festive fun vibe you... used to rock? I visited the American Fork location yesterday. Only because I had a gift card did I leave my name on yourwaiting list or I would have left as the establishment looked and smelled old. I know paint is not very expensive so it would bea good idea to at least paint your hostess station. Click and zoom in on my photo to see the condition of the station. Also,this location does not have a bar so you should not advertise that you do. Our server showed us the markings on the tile floorwhere the bar used to be, why did you remove it? When my meal finally arrived, the chicken crispers and fries were barely warmand the chicken was dried out. The tortilla chips were shiny. Are chips supposed to be shiny and glisten in the light? I couldhave patted the chips with napkins to absorb the oil soaked appetizer. I do not plan on returning to Chili’s as you have goneway down hill my friends. Food was good seating areas were a little crowded tables were kind of small. Service was good. They didn't give us plates for... the appitizers so we put them on napkins. But besides that it was not bad I ordered the fajitas they were out of steakunfortunately and it had the option of adding queso and Pico for a couple dollars more. I say don't waste your money it wasrunny queso barely drizzled over the top with a teaspoon full of Pico it literally did nothing for the dish. So I wouldn'tbother adding that to it. The sample appitizers were actually great. Try the slowest eggrolls I was greatly surprised how goodthey were. For anyone that does not like spicy the beans with the fajitas were very spicy but good. Boring, dry tacos. They took forever to come out, and we’re completely unappealing or interesting in any way. The side of rice... was cold and dry. Especially for a restaurant that claims the “Tex-Mex” label, I was surprised. The waitress was veryhelpful and kind though, so props to her! I think her name was Cortney. Id like to start by saying I used to work in fast food and never post reviews, especially negative ones. However this location... has the absolute worst customer service and food quality I have ever seen. Everytime I have ordered takeout or delivery I havehad a major issue with my order. For instance, a chicken mex bowl without chicken....what? Other things have also been left outon other orders. Today I ordered a lunch fajitas combo and received a plate with the picture attached. Almost no chicken andrice and no pico, guac, sour cream, cheese or salsa. The rice was also dried out. There was random cajun sauce smeared around.It looked like someones leftovers. There was enough food for 2 fajitas. Whenever I visit in person I almost always wait 10minutes, with multiple servers walking past me and the restaurant not busy, before someone greets me at the door. One day Iwaited 20 minutes. Really great service, despite it being really late at night. Good food that came out fast, hot and delicious. The booth we were... in has a hole duct taped, but other than that it was A+. Read more
