This newer locale was a surprise to me. Even though the name says \"Delmar\" (which means \"from the sea\") there is much more... to the place than fish. I had the birria style tacos and they were delicious. I tried del Mar for the first time and was impressed with the quality presentation and flavor of what I ordered. At the Baja... burrito, which has wild cod and it was just spectacularly delicious. If you are in American fork and like seafood this is anabsolute must try. Read more

Ordered the mango habanero aguachiles(1 out of 10) only had 3 bites, pretty gross. (Posted picture). Quesa birra tacos are at (7... out of 10). Also ordered the ?surf & turf? burrito with only 2 pieces of shrimp and barely any steak (2 out of 10). I was askedto tip prior of getting my food or service. Which I don?t mind. The shrimp tacos were really good. The salsa guerrita on the tostada wasn?t my favorite, and I don?t love that they make the... tostada look huge with a pile of cucumbers under the seafood. It?s a little deceiving. I\'d go back for the shrimp tacos, if Ihad a hankering. Read more

Visited for lunch on taco Tuesday! Chicken and steak tacos were $2 each and fish and shrimp tacos were $2.50 each. Taco Tuesday... items were not on the regular menu. The steak taco was kind of meh, I had a lot of chewy pieces that were hard to eat. But thefish taco was one of the best I\'ve ever had!
