I finally stopped in and tried this place last Saturday. I got there an hour before they closed so I wasn't expecting a ton of... variety, but was surprised to see almost everything still available! The second you walk around the building you'll instantlysmell just how good it's going to taste! Seriously SO delicious. The bread has such a good texture and crispness to it. I got abacon, egg and cheese savory kolache, strawberry cream cheese, and maple pecan. All of them were delicious! I do wish the baconwas cooked a little more crispy because I had quite a few big chunks of fat that would've been edible had they been cookedlonger. The kolaches were absolutely amazing! We became fans of kolaches while living in Texas and these were every bit as good. The 3... stars is for the flat out rude customer service. The guy running check out didn't say hi, thank you and acted super put out thatwe were there buying $50 worth of kolaches. I understand we all have bad days, but if you hate your job, do something else! Read more
This was my first exposure to Kolaches, and boy are they delicious! For those who are curious, they are baked breads stuffed... with wonderful things, both in savory and sweet varieties. I have one stuffed with sausage gravy that hit the spot nicely. Theservice is great, but you have to go early as they are popular and run out of stock quickly. Read more
Great breakfast option just off Main Street in AF. Sausage + Egg + Jalapeno, and Sausage + Gravy are my go to Favorites.
Wow, this was the best breakfast I have had in months. I am very passionate about cream cheese filled pastries/ desserts and you... simple cannot find anything like this anywhere else. 10/10 reccomend. Also the way they were so soft!! It was like biting into acloud. I've already eaten the raspberry and cream cheese filled one, and I cannot wait to eat the rest. Here is a photo of theplain creme cheese one. I?ve seen this place almost every day, and finally decided to take the kiddos and give it a try. It did not disappoint! I?d much... rather have one of these than a donut or a danish. We tried the sausage/egg/cheese, the Texas style (polish sausage, cheese,jalapeños), cinnamon, and strawberry Nutella. We couldn?t pick a favorite because they were all amazing. They managed to getthe perfect ratio of bread to filling for both the sweet and savory flavors. The prices were reasonable too. We will definitelybe coming back! Read more
These are the best kolaches we have ever had! They are a DELICIOUS breakfast (or anytime) food. You can tell they make from... scratch all of the fillings and use quality ingredients. Go here, try a whole bunch of flavors. You won't regret it! Read more
