Jim's used to be one of our favorites.. the last few times we have came it has really gone downhill. We waited at least 40-45... minutes for our food this time and mine came back pure burnt. The chicken was so hard and dry and the peppers and onions wereactually Black!! Pita bread was hard and not fresh either. My husband ordered their special and asked for the country gravy onhis potatoes and chicken and he got brown gravy. Only thing that was good was the bread pudding. Read more
Great service, but can't cook a steak to save their life. The waitress was lovely and tried to get the cooks to correct the... steak, but they brought back another well-done steak when I had asked for a medium. The waitress tried to ask for a smalldiscount when she saw the second steak and was denied. She was great, but the steak and management? Not so much. Read more
We had the Ribeye Steak & Eggs and the Country Fried Streak and Eggs. The meals are well portioned and the price reasonable. I... love their homemade bread, they give you nice big slices. The staff was attentive and the food was delicious. Read more
Went to the AF Jim's today, got the worst service EVER. Seated promptly,took our order. Waited over 30 to go ask the gentleman... at the till what the wait was. He went to the kitchen area. We we Waited longer and finally received our food. To our surprise 2of the 3 orders were wrong. Bacon in my vegetarian sons omelet, daughter ordered strawberry French toast, she got French toastno strawberry! Again I got the gentleman, he took them back and brought the correct items within 10 minutes, but by this timewe've been there well over an hour! He have us a measly 10% discount. Been coming here since I was a little kid and first moved to Utah, so I May be a bit biased in my review. But JIMS is definitely... the best breakfast spot in town. The food is delicious and I love the small hometown vibe of this place. Fantastic. My wife and I came for breakfast and had never been before. The waitress had many suggestions and was very helpful... with our questions. I tried one of the suggestions and it was very very good, very glad I tried it. In essence, I wouldrecommend Jim's. It was a good experience full of kind employees, good food, and a good way to start the day. Read more
A great all American family restaurant. I have to be honest I?ve been here twice and really liked it. But I?ve only ever had... breakfast here. The food is really good and very well priced. I had the Belgium waffles and my wife had a skillet. We bothreally enjoyed it. The portions were big but not too big.
