Subway menu now expects you to either make a custom sandwich or have it made how they think you want it instead of having the... sandwiches as templates. This resulted in advising me mid order that it was going to cost extra to customize toppings. Obviouslybased on the employees tone of response this has been a source of tension between customers and workers as they weren't verykind about me learning about this just now. Subway as a whole should reconsider this change in model asap, at a minimum itshould be made clear before an order is started that customization will be an additional charge. Advise to local management ofthis location. Employees shouldn't be frustrated alongside customers mid order.... Train your employees to kindly informcustomers immediately over waiting until mid order and getting irritated by the request for different topics if you are going tomaintain this model. Edit: After checking out of curiosity I can order the exact sandwich I wanted for $9.95 online, instead ofthe ~$12 this location charged me. Your website allows customers to do things exactly how they have for many years with clearexpectations, why can your local store not? Read more

I am not one to normally post negative reviews, even when I have a negative experience. But my experience at this location today... was so troubling that I am going to post this, hopefully so that either something will change at this location or at the least, that other people will read and not waste their money, so go to a different location. This is a long explanation but take timeto read it all, because it explains why I felt belittled, as well as how absolutely stingy and rude management is at thislocation. I enjoy subway because I like getting a sandwich the way I like it, especially getting a lot of pickles and peppers.I always order the same thing- 12" sweet onion chicken teriyaki on flatbread. Today at this American Fork subway location, Iordered the same thing. The gal making my sandwich got the flatbread, scooped two scoops of meat, and started putting the cheeseon. A middle aged worker (I assume a shift lead or manager) came to the gal helping me and whispered something to her that I didnot hear. The gal helping me then scraped half the meat off the sandwich. I said "is there a reason you are taking all that meatoff?" The middle aged lady said "there is only supposed to be two scoops on a footlong". I replied "yes, she only scooped twoscoops when she got the meat". The middle aged lady replied "well, a scoop is just supposed to be 7 pieces"... 7 pieces that areabout 1/2" by 1"... every other subway I have ever been to scoops 2 scoops and does not count the pieces. Then, after thesandwich is toasted, I ask for spinach, she puts 8 leaves of spinach on- quite a bit less than every other Subway does. I assumethey are just a little stingy here and let it fly. I then ask for EXTRA pickles (that is my favorite part about Subway, to gettons of pickles). She grabs 8 pickle slices and puts them on. I responded "can I get more pickles please?" and she grabs 4 morepickle slices (for reference, every other subway when I ask for extra pickles ends up putti Read more

0 stars if i could. Not only did our 3 sandwich order get made one a t a time with drive Thru orders in between all 3. Each... sandwich came out 5 to 10 min apart. Once we tried to pay with a coupon. I literally rip it out of the paper. The registergirl who can't speak english, scans it and says it's been scanned. Even though it a fresh coupon. I hand her manager my sheetof coupons so she can scan the other 3x footlong dorm $17.99. She says this one also has been scanned. She said she wouldGive us a buy one get one free footlong. But our bill came out to $29. Also I ordered an Outlaw and she told me I couldn'tadd spinach to my order on sub something else. Since when is subway not build your own custom sandwiches. I will never go backto this location and boycott subway in general. If your goal was to hire bad employees and ruin your connections to yourcustomer base. Mission accomplished! Worst subway manager I have ever dealed with. Read more

I haven?t been to Subway for a long time. I don?t to recommend this store, and I?m sorry but that probably killed it for me... going back to Subway. Both employees had an hard time communicating. One of them dropped my sandwich on the floor and had tothrow it in the trash and start over, which is fine, but he didn?t change his gloves. The food did not look very fresh, theywere out of lots of things, the cheese was dried out. As he was making my sandwich a fly landed on it. I asked for cucumbers onmy half and he didn?t understand, so I stopped asking for toppings because my husband wouldn?t have wanted those toppings on hishalf. I had a coupon for 2 foot longs for $12 and he charged me $17. Not sure how there could be that much tax? They didn?t giveus any napkins and he put the avocado on the part where it squished out everywhere, it was actually very unappetizing. Anyway, not good enough food to over look those things for me! Very bad, I can't even begin to describe the horrors that have become of subway. Long waits, horrible service. Well this is will... be the last time I ever go to a subway again, and I didn't even get to order anything, that's right, I stood there with no onein the lobby, only one car in the drivethru, and no one helped me. The guy kept staring at me, didn't even bother to say oneminute or anything just flat out ignored us for several minutes, until we just left, we were even pretty loud leaving sayingwell I guess if they can't be bothered to serve us I guess we'll leave, and they still did nothing. Subway is my go to restaurant when I need more veggies in my life. I pile my sandwiches high with all the veggies. This time I... got the American Club with Turkey, Ham and Bacon. Toasted it and it was delicious! This store in American Fork is always cleanand the staff are always super friendly. It took about 5 minutes from start to finish and they were even a little busy.
