We had the north location cater for our wedding in September and they went above and beyond! The ordering process was simple and... the customer service was very friendly & helpful as usual. The food was fresh & delicious. The portions were extremely generousand they included all the extras and toppings. We got the fajitas package. The pick up went smoothly and everyone at the weddingwas very happy with the food. The prices were more than reasonable. We were extremely grateful for the impressive meal! Love this place, don't know how they do it!! For the record I am a vegetarian, they have I think 6 or 7 different options for me... which is very nice!! El Azteca has always been my favorite Mexican place in town. They have 2 locations and both are amazing!! We got 2 lunch... specials and drinks and our bill was $22. This was a great choice on my trip to Ames. We wanted to chill and have some dinner, but we also wanted to watch the NCAA BBall... games and have some chips and salsa and queso. They have a lot of TV?s. 65?+. Great viewing. The chips are fantastic. The salsais good. Very mild, which I like. The queso was hot, and a little too runny. The service was incredibly fast. Scary fastreally. I doubt this will be everyone?s experience, but it was ours that night. Our food came so fast, we hadn?t even finishedour first bowl of chips. The portions are massive. It?s really a lot to eat. And delicious. If I?m in Ames again, I?ddefinitely eat here again. And I?d know to bring a bigger appetite. Read more
