Stopped for gas before heading home from a vet visit for my cat. Holy buckets that's good bbq! I'm a little cheap, so when I saw... the price for a sandwich, I debated. I loved their Chef Salad with fresh, soft lettuce, delicious hams, and perfectly boiled egg slices! It was the best salad I've... ever had from the stores? shelves in Ames. At first, I was frustrated as their car wash was out of function, so I just had toget out of the machine with soap water all around my car in over 90-degree hot weather. Excellent tenderloin. Big, meaty, crispy breading. Beans were disappointing otherwise this would have been a five.
Hands down the best tenderloin I?ve had! Perfect consistency of meat to breading. The size was ????, most tenderloins people... make are a joke. They try to sell based off size, and you feel like you are only eating breading along with a cheap bun. Read more
There's so much good food here. Healthy snacks too. Not only do they have a killer tenderloin, but I found celery and peanut... butter, cheese and fruit trays, granola, kombucha, and a lot of fresh fruit. 10/10 will visit next time I'm in Ames! Read more
