The one thing that's good about this place is the entire staff. Everyone here is hardworking with a great attitude. However, the... new way to order is stupid. Friendly staff, taking extra cleaning measures, all wearing masks..greatly appreciate their hard work.
It?s fine, but with a much better HyVee gas just down the road I almost never stop in here. They do have a kitchen that makes... fresh food and you can order food if you?d like. There is also a dining area, which would be nice for truckers I imagine butI?ve never had a situation that I would want to sit down and eat at a gas station. Read more

This has been my favorite K&G since I moved to Ames 4 years ago, since then its seen some improvements which are great. However... recently it has been very dirty the pumps are nasty and greasy which in turn gets my steering wheel and shifter nasty andgreasy, the bathroom is in total disarray, there was actually feces ON the only roll of toilet paper in the bathroom (btw theycant be botheted to put the roll of paper into the dispenser it just sits around.) This place has gone WAY downhill since Imoved here. I will be taking my business to the Hyvee gas down the street. Read more
