This is not a spot that we frequent and have been here a handful of times. The food is good and is your typical Mexican... restaurant as far as food goes. The service is just a step behind their competition around town. We have never been impressedwith the staff and have always been left waiting for something. Not saying I wouldn't recommend this spot or their food, just beprepared for a little more casual pace of service and maybe them forgetting something. Read more

The food and quantities here were great. We really enjoyed our drinks and meals. However, two facets keep it from being five... stars. The first is that there was trash all around the facility and the bathroom trash cans were overflowing. Second, we weretold that items on the menu were gluten free but they weren't, evidenced by the gluten reaction of someone in our party. Read more
Modern Mexican at its finest! A nice little gem nestled just off Lincoln Way, with plenty of parking. The atmosphere in the... restaurant was lovely and cool, without the blaring mariachi music. The menu had a wide array of options, all reasonably priced.L Casa Maya also offers Mexican Coca-cola & Jarritos. The service was great and our food arrived quickly, even with modificationrequests. The best Mexican resturant in Ames, very delicious food, very welcoming staff, very clean place. My wife and I enjoyed so much... out there, we ordered Pollo Loco, Mojarra, Guacamole Maya and Mango Margeritta. The flavours of the food were amazing.
