Definitely late to the party on Phat Cats Bistro. Excellent experience. Sat at the bar and Dean took care of us...what a nice... guy. Started with martinis, one black and blue and one Grey Goose. Baked Blues as an app, really solid blue cheese flavor andnice crostini - perfect portion for 2. Next a couple spinach salads which had great pear based flavors and the small was a niceportion. App and salads were excellent overall. We had one grilled tenderloin special which was cooked perfectly MR with niceveg and really solid mash. Super tender steak and overall really solid dish. The other meal was the creole seafood stew whichwas recommended by Dean and what a recommendation. Absolutely a go to dish in my opinion. Great kick with a ton of seafood andsausage. We finished with a piece of homemade carrot cake and it was awesome. Huge portion. Overall, why I waited so long tocome to this spot. Definitely will return soon! Read more

Just had dinner for my wife's birthday. Every bite of every thing we had was amazing. We started with a bottle of white french... wine (awesome and smooth). Started with great sweet bread and hummus. Had the chicken littles (seasoned breaded chicken strips)fresh and very tasty. For dinner, we had the tender loin, OMG topped with fresh mushrooms and vegetables. On the side, they hadmashed potatoes mixed with corn (we will never have mashed potatoes without corn , its yummy) then finished with a fantastichome made carrot cake for my wife and another cake for me and a fresh brewed cup of coffee. What a gem of a place. The waitressand owners are what eateries used to be. They wrote happy birthday with chocolate on the cake plate for my wife. Phat Cats isour new go to place. We went for the first time this summer. Food was excellent, drinks were outstanding. My husband has allergies to gluten and... dairy and they were VERY accommodating! Which is a big plus!!! We were offered bread and I accepted but my husband can not eatit. They said no problem we have veggies and hummus if you would like that. Perfect! We both liked out dinners. My husband had asmall reaction to the tortilla chips but decided to try it again. We went the next night and he had a different meal and he didnot have any reaction. We enjoyed the cocktails very much along with our meals and I even had dessert the second night and weboth had espresso. We will certainly go back there again. Reservations recommended. Sadly disappointing. Bread and butter for the table was a kind of hot dog roll. Calamari app tough and rubbery. Side of veggies... were also touch and seemed pre-cooked from earlier. Gnocchi had taste of something old—maybe old flour. Steak for partner wasbland. Not sure why the high reviews. Read more
Update: a year later and I still think it was the best food I had ever had in last 10-20 years! Truly a 5 stars food. We had... lobster and shrimp risotto and both were amazing. Quality is the best I had in months! What an amazing find. My meal had 7(!)different vegetables in it. Wow! I ordered large portion and it was too much food for me, should have went with a small(regular) portion. We paid little less than $60 for both of us. Read more
We've never been disappointed by Phat Cats! When it comes to the food, service, or drinks, everything is on point. We love... sitting at the bar and making great conversation with Deano, or sitting in one of the many cozy and intimate tables. The menuhas some comfort staples and specials are seasonal and delicious. Love it so much here! Read more
