I?ve been here for dinner multiple times, and every time, the food and service are exceptional! The staff is so warm and... friendly. The owners always check in on you while you are eating - they strive for a perfect dining experience. The food isamazing and you definitely get the amount you pay for. We recently ordering catering trays for my son?s baptism. The guests wereall raving about how good the food was (and it was quite delicious). We recently moved the area 2 years ago and we havedefinitely found our catering spot for future events! I would recommend this place over and over again for both dinner andcatering! Read more
Love it here! The inside is beautiful!! The plates are beautiful and so delicious. They have HOMEMADE pasta. Which is super cool... and really good. I recommend getting it. I also recommend the meatballs..It's my favorite food. Come here for date night or afancy girls night out. Have some wine (or their signature drink of the season...the peach sangria was really nice). My wife and I had our first date night here since our first child, and we actually had catering from them which was phenomenal,... so we decided to investigate the source. Location: downtown Amesbury, for those who haven't been this resturant has its ownparking lot. You don't need to park on the street. Walk in: welcoming hostess was very nice and tried to see if any tables wereopen before giving a wait time. We were told 45-55m. I think we waited 20m. Waitress was very friendly and polite. We ended upsharing a few stories between us throughout the night. Very accurate and descriptive with food options andrecommendations. Bread& Oil: The oil has capers in it and it's something I have never seen before but is great. There was alsopeppers and spices in the oil. The bread was super soft and airy which worked great for the oil. Grated cheese comes in a dishas well and is fresh and tasty. Appetizer was the rollini di melanzane which was a breaded eggplant rolled with peppers,cheese, and spinach sitting on a bed of creamed tomato sauce with basil. It was fantastic. Side salads or soup come with theentree. The vinegrette dressing was refreshing and flavorful (house salad). The ceasar dressing on the ceasar salad was verytasty. The Romain lettuce was fresh. My only let down was how salty the croutons were for caesar. My dinner was the pollovodka. Chicken was juicy and bite sized. The penne was really tender and cooked perfectly. The sauce was blended well betweenthe tomato sauce, cream, and splash of vodka. It also had tomatoes and cherry peppers which added a zing. Was nice andrefreshing. My wife got the gnocchi sorrentino which had a similar sauce to mine. The gnocchi was soft and thick a bit dense.The cheese added another complexity of flavor that pair great. The portions were huge. Food is very good and abundant. Unfortunately, the waitress we had at first was replaced with an aloof waitress, not very... friendly and with a bit of an attitude. Other than that it was a good dining area, nice atmosphere and good cocktails. Read more
Definitely worth a visit! My partner and I went for dinner February 12th for Valentines dinner and had a wonderful time. Our... waitress was great, the food was good and we'll be back again. You'll want to call ahead the last couple times we wanted to gothey were booked, but worth a wait. Read more
After a long day out fishing on the ocean, we searched for a good Italian restaurant to stop at on our way home. Boy oh boy did... we luck out when Google Maps suggested this place. The service was great - Karen is the best! The food was superb and theatmosphere was so comfortable and welcoming. Everything is fresh and homemade. We started with fresh baked bread then we'redelighted by the Italian Wedding and Red Pepper soups. Our dinners, Veal Parmigiano and Pasta Antoinetta were to die for! Thanksfor a great dinner! It was very busy when we arrived but we were seated right away (had a reservation). Service was outstanding. Drinks were... delicious. Meats appetizer easy served 4 and was much better than just a typical platter. Risotto, lobster ravioli, and vealwere all superb. Only criticism is that the large room is a little loud.
