I was amazed by my experience. The workers there were disgusting, unprofessional, inappropriate, and inattentive. The place was... filthy. I walked into the store and no one acknowledged my presence. After I ordered, I waited forever to pay at the cashier. Then, the only worker over the counter walked away and two kids came in to make my sandwich. While customers were asked to wearmasks, the kids weren?t wearing one. After tossing my bagel in the oven, they walked to the side of the store chatting withtheir friends and playing with their phones, with the gloves on. With the same dirty gloves, they continued to make my bagel.WHILE they were making my bagel, another kid arrived and was showing them stuff on his phone over the counter and was talkingloudly to each other. When I did receive my order after 15 minutes, items were missing. I recommend Tandem Bagel in Hadley-much better food and professional staff. Bruegger?s- I know it?s hard to find workers now days. But the ppl do have in thereare rubbish. Read more

Bruegger's is a lovely little spot to grab a bagel or coffee, located conveniently in downtown Amherst. Service is always... stellar, food is great, fresh & hot. Coffee is excellent, add your own cream or milk & sugar. They also have tasty breakfastsandwiches, including pastrami! Inside is clean too. Always a pleasant experience here! Read more

I tried ordering online at 11am and it was closed for online ordering so I went to the brueggers to order in person. There was a... sign stating they'll be open 6am-1pm. BUT, they had chairs in front of the door and locked both doors and it was only 12pm ....So I'm not able to give a actual review Read more

I really appreciate the effort they have taken to keep their customers and workers safe during Covid. It is a one way, there is... a blockade to prevent you from getting close to the workers. There is a separate exit. I love the variety in bagels and creamcheese, and the food is delicious. My favorite is their salt bagels! The cinnamon sugar bagel is also divine. I've also seentheir bagels donated to local groups, which I appreciate. The coffee is also reasonably priced, with the iced coffee on parwith the hot coffee, an important staple in New England! Delicious! So many different flavors and styles here. This was my first time trying the food at Bruegger's Bagels. I had tasted... the Sriracha Honey Sunrise and the Smoked Salmon Signature. The staff was very accommodating to allow me to swap the pepperedbacon on the first sandwhich with chicken sausage. The sriracha sandwhich was a bit greasy, so I wish they had double wrapped itsince it was put in the same bag as the other sandwhich. There is currently no dine-in, but delivery is available withdoordash. Everybody wears masks at this location, and social distancing is enforced. There is no sanitization between customersthough. One pack to Bruegger's bagels after a year of being gone a family tradition in our home and was thoroughly disappointed. Not... only had the quality of the service gone down but the quality of their wants delicious bagels had as well. They gave useverything bagels with no seasoning and pumpernickel bagels that had holes in the sides of them. Also there was an up charge formajority of the bagels that used to be included with the dozen. The people behind the counter were very attentive and did notprovide good service. They were rude, talking amongst themselves and not even listening to their clientele. Our family will nowbe switching to Tandem Bagel. The service and QUALITY of bagel we received today, after 25 years of loyalty to this company, wasa huge disappointment ! Read more

I love bagels and this place is FOR BAGEL lovers..or so it claims. It is Sunday 10 am on March 17th. Our first time at this... famous chain and as we entered the shop, we right away approached the cashier to place our order. The cashier that had a tag of"shift supervisor" acknowledged us, waited for us to start ordering and after I had already said Hi, asked him about his day andthen said my order outloud , he (with a smirk on his face) pointed in the direction of the kitchen staff and said "yeah, you'llneed to order it there first!" (I think he was getting off on the fact that we were bran new customers and didnt know "theirsystem") Fine, he is basking in his "bagel supervising" role , didnt even let that bother us, went to see young/ very friendlykitchen staff to place our order. We ordered 3 different bagels, asked for all toasted w/ plain cream cheese. Now, when you havea bad experience from just walking through the door of the shop you've never been to before, you seem to just not even careabout what happens next, you want to pay for food or services and just leave to never return. So we simply discussed our plansfor that morning while waiting on the bagels. Order was completed, grabbed it, paid for it with desire to never come hereagain. Now, who eats bagels without TOASTING them? If you do, you're an animal! We specifically asked for TOASTED, andapparantly , warming the exterior part of the bagel equals to toasting them. Sad ! One and only good thing about this place, they didn't skimp on cream cheese, but when you have a soft bagel it really doesnt matter how much cream cheese you mightschmear on that! Really, it doesnt! Lesson learned- if you get "great" customer service from the "shift supervisor" the momentyou walk in- you should turn around and leave! Additionally, the kitchen staff complained the entire time about the big orderthey had just received for 38 bagels and how "tiring and "great"" it was. Amherst is a college town, i dont see wh Read more
