Thanksgiving take-out dinner: A few years ago, I ordered this during Covid times and it was quite excellent. This time, not so... much. Dinner was missing its cranberry, the mashed potatoes were about about the size of your palm, and the salad was laughablysmall (with Greek dressing?!?) Family Thanksgiving dinner, and it was delicious and the price was great. You could order off the menu too if you didn't want... the turkey dinner. All homemade food and I especially liked the stuffing and white cheddar mashed potatoes. Can't say enoughabout this. Service was excellent too. We went there on Thanksgiving this year . We were greeted by the Manger who was absolutely amazing. Our waitresses Katie and the... busboy Luke were great the girl at the bar would make sure drinks were perfect. Everyone there all had smiles on their facesplus the food was awesome . We had another amazing dinner with friends on Sunday September 11, 2022. We always enjoy the added ambiance of the fish tanks.... We chose one of our favorites lobster crab cheese dip plus discovered a new one the caprese salad on a fantastic roll. Also Ienjoyed the cucumber mule which complimented our food choices. The french fries were like small waffle shapes and crispy anddelicious especially since I don't usually like french fries and this was an exception. Our friends enjoyed Sheppard pie. Nice dining experience. I had the Baked Haddock with the mashed potatoes and a salad. Very tasty! My son had the Maine Lobster... Tails and he really enjoyed them. I had a delicious slice of NY Cheesecake for dessert. The service was friendly and reasonablyattentive. We ate in the atrium at the back of the building and the setting was quite pleasant. They have a small, nicelylandscaped pond with some koi in it that really enhanced the atmosphere. Recommended! Read more

The good: The food is absolutely phenomenal, one of the people in my group said it was the best meal she ever had. We loved... seeing the fish, and the decor is tasteful. Now, for the bad. THE SERVICE. It was the worst service I have ever had at anyestablishment. We were there for an hour and a half, and we left the moment we were able to pay. The reason we were there for solong is because our waitress was EXTREMELY inattentive. After she greeted us and took our drink order, another person brought usour drinks and we did not see her again for twenty minutes. We were ready to order after five, and spent the rest of the time inincreased annoyance. When she finally returned, she did not apologize for leaving us sit for so long. I even mentioned that wehad been ready to order for some time, and she still did not offer an apology. She plugged in the wrong entree for my husband.This meant that when we all received our food, he had to sit there and watch us eat while the kitchen made him the correct meal.The other waitress (or she may have been a hostess, I'm unsure) put a rush in for his food. Even so, we were practicallyfinished by the time he received his food, and so we in turn had to sit and wait for him to eat. She did apologize for this, butit was such a great inconvenience we felt she should have given us a discount on his meal, which she did not. Finally, we wereready for the check. Again, no sign of her for an uncomfortable amount of time. She did not come to check on us at all duringour meal. Two other staff members gave us drinks and interacted with us. It made tipping leave a sour taste in my mouth becauseI feel the money should have gone to them, not our waitress who did a spectacularly poor job. I gave four stars because she wasthe only negative thing about our experience, and thus it's unfair to tank the rating of the entire establishment over oneperson. The Grapevine is truly one of my favorite places in WNY because every aspect of the experience is handled perfectly! the service... is always superb, drinks are awesome & the food is delicious! they often add new items to the menu & test them out which makesthings fun but honestly you can’t go wrong with any of the staple menu items either! their sauce is delicious, they make somany things fresh in house (dressings, sauces, etc) and you can absolutely tell because it is so good! their drinks are amazing& I’m so happy to have such a consistent and wonderful restaurant so close!
