We've been here multiple times, and have always loved the experience. The cabins are wonderful - well maintained, spacious... without losing the coziness, and separated from the main inn so it's pretty much like being there without anyone else around.The property is beautiful, there's lots to do nearby, and the food offered... this is by far the biggest draw for us, as everymeal has been absolutely fantastic. Only place I've ever had cauliflower and really *enjoyed* it. Price is pretty reasonable,and well worth it for anyone looking for a getaway. Read more
Room was very clean and well appointed. The property is spectacular right on the ocean with lovely lounge chairs right next to... the waters edge. There is so much that can be said about the Amherst Shore Country Inn. It is a little piece of paradise. We stayed in one of the... chalets for two nights. Lots of space, great kitchen, big jetted tub and a propane fireplace. It was a great place to settledown with a book when it was raining. When the sun was shining the deck of the chalet or better yet their beach. The tide in orout it was a spectacular place to explore and enjoy and in the summer some nice warm water. Then the food. Well, breakfasts ourtwo morning started with their beautiful scones. Blueberry pancakes and sausage one morning and french toast and bacon thesecond. We booked dinner one night and were blown away by our meal. I attached a copy of the menu for that night. Creole onionsoup for starters while my wife had the haddock for her main and I had the maple brined pork loin. Spectacular! Desserts wereamazing! Wine selection was extensive. Oh yes the view from the dining view overlooking the water was a spectacular thing. We booked 2 nights all inclusive suit and must stay it was one of best place we ever stayed. The location was spectacular with... sea front. Very clean and best service. Above the food is top notch. its was no less than a Michelin star restaurantquality. The host Mary and her husband are the chef & baker. They were very warm n welcoming. You cant miss out the lobster andscallop dinner and the bread baked in the in-house bakery is the most delicious thing I ever had. Read more
Best stay I have ever had. We got there late and were upgraded from the suite we had booked to a chalet! Most beautiful and... picturesque stay I have ever had. Food was INCREDIBLE and so much love was put into it I could tell. Most home away from home,wholesome, genuine, comforting experience I have ever had at an inn/hotel/motel/etc. If I could rate higher than 5 stars Iwould! Thank you so much! Read more
