We were looking for a nice place to grab a quick drink and food before some other obligations. When we walked in, at first... glance, the place looked nice. The food menu and drink menu also looked good. But that was the end of anything nice. I'm surethe service and food quality is worse on a Sunday at 4pm but I wouldn't even feed what was given to us to an animal. We waited45 mins for a Cesar salad with salmon, goat cheese appetizer, and a brie apple burger. The salmon was raw in the center and thebread with the goat cheese was bad. The burger; however, was only not cooked correctly. We had then sent the salad back as wedid not have another hour to wait for a new salad. Next we waited about another 20 mins at which point I had to ask the hostessfor a check and a box. This young woman provided a box and then disappeared for another 10 mins and at no point mentioned thatshe either: a) couldn't help us with the check or b) just didn't care. At this point I had to walk into the kitchen and ask aserver for a check Extremely disappointed with the service and the food. Based on reviews this place seemed decent but afterour experience and looking deeper many of the positive reviews are several years old and/or not from a Sunday. If our experienceis truly representative of the service you normally receive in Amherst the residents should sincerely consider moving. Read more
10 STARS !!! OMG this is a top 5 meal with over half a century of food in this belly. Decor is nice. Seating isn't crowded.... Great bar selection. Wait staff is on spot and not absent when you eat, but not intrusive when eating. Now the food...apps wereamazing. Poor belly jerk with mango, black truffle fries and stuffed mushrooms. I got the Wagyu beef for the main dish. Beststeak I ever had and the presentation was beautiful. Wife loved her chocolate martini too. This has to be on your list ofspecial places to go. Read more

Cool rustic atmosphere with tasty food. My portion was good, but not large.
Loved this place! Appetizer: We had oysters and mushrooms, they were delicious. Dinner: My wife had Spring Chicken Cacciatore... and I had the salmon, both were delicious. We will be back!!! Read more
I was overly impressed with our experience here. First walking in the atmosphere is cozy, and clean. I was pleased that the... dining areas were much quiter than the bar side. The service was great, they kept up on our table and requests the whole time.The salads were fresh, not just iceberg basic with awesome homemade croutons. All of our entrées were prepared just how weasked, with great taste and quality! We did not have room for dessert. I highly recommend checking them out, we'll be back! Read more
