I am not sure if y'all have been to Olde Town Pizza or not but I am here to tell you that it is a staple in the little town of... Amherst Ohio! If you live in the area or you are in for a visit from out of town, give this spot a go! They have an amazing menuwith loads of different Pizza options and other delicious food like their Chicken Foldover that will just completely blow yourmind! I have been going to Olde Town for as long as I can remember and I have yet to have a bad experience food-wise or evenwith their service! So, as I said, whether you are a local or here from out of town, bring yourself to this incredibleestablishment, you'll be happy you did! ???? Read more

This was our first visit to Olde Town Pizza House. I wasn't impressed but it might just be that we didn't pick the right... pizza. The folks working here were friendly. The hostess was very nice. While we had to wait 10 minutes for a table (not badfor a Friday evening) we noticed that people were waiting awhile for someone to come and take their order. Once seated, wedidn't have to wait nearly that long. For those seeking a beer, their options were fair. Be sure to look at the chalk board, though, because they do not have beer menus at the tables. We did order breadsticks. These were encouraging. They were largeand were fluffy. Served with a side of delicious sauce, overall these were light and fluffy and were easy to tear apart fordipping. I enjoyed these although they could have had a bit more salted garlic butter. We ordered a Deluxe Za specialty pizza. We ordered it with a deep dish crust. This pizza was generously topped with all the pizza toppings anyone could want includingcheese. There could have been more of that delicious sauce, though. I think our mistake was ordering the deep dish. This is veryhearty crust. It is too much and takes away from the rest of the pie. For me, this crust is alright but tasted more like Italianbread than pizza crust. We will give Olde Town another try. I saw the pizzas that others had ordered and a more basic pizzaappeared to be the way to go (golden baked, bubbly, with the right amount of sauce). The rest of the menu appeared to be worthexploring, too. So, while I couldn't give a high rating this time, perhaps I will in the future. Also, it is worth noting thatother reviews about dusty/dirty lights above the tables are still persistent. There were lots of annoying little bugs, too, which diminished our casual Friday night date night. Read more

The environment of olde town pizza is good and the people are very nice. However, the pizza was ok and lacked flavor. ... Specifically the crust. The salad and dressing was good. I would ask that they clean the lights above the tables. Read more

My wife and I had a hankering for pizza so we stopped by this little pizza shop on our way back home to Michigan. The place is... really nice, the service was great, the waiter was really friendly and nice! The most important part tho, the pizza, we ordereda detroit style deep dish pizza and the damn thing came out looking like it was plated in gold. It was beautiful, and incrediblydelicious. I would recommend this pizza place to anyone! Read more

Ordered a LARGE pizza with two non specialty toppings. The total came to $17.50. When I picked up the pizza right away I noticed... the size of the pizza box. It looked like a medium pizza from everywhere else I ever ordered from. So I said to the person whohanded me the pizza, this does not look like a large pizza it looks like a medium. They assured me it was a large pizza evenafter I opened the box and showed them how small it was. All they said was that is the size of our large pizzas. So I took thepizza home and my girlfriend seen the box when I came through the door and said I thought you ordered a large pizza not amedium, i chuckled and said that is exactly what I thought. I told her they said this is their large. Anyways we ate it and wecame to the conclusion that it was about a 5-6 out of 10. Very disappointed for my first time there, for the price and the smallsize of the pizza I expected way more. Pizza hut beats them in taste and value for sure. We will give them one more try, but wewill not be ordering the pizza. I hope the other items are a better quality and a more fair price. Read more
