English style pub with what the owners imagine is typical "pub grub". I ordered the Steak & Guinness pie while my friend had the... Reubin sandwich. My entee arrived with the warning that it was very hot which in fact was very true. Good amount of beef andgravy covered with a lattice of pastry. Very yummy. It came with a side of seasonal vegetables which consisted of green beans,broccoli, and baby carrots. The veggies were also garnished with clumps of diced garlic and could have been cooked a little bitlonger as they were practically raw. Very crunchy. My friends Reubin was also very hot when it arrived at the table. Looked veryappealing with corned beef piled high. Served with fries. Friend said it was very good but very filling. She had to take half ofit home. Service was good and our server was very friendly and attentive. Read more
One of my favourite places in Amherstburg to enjoy a great meal and a few drinks. This time around wasn't my favourite but was... still yummy. A few things to change... on the fish tacos, I found them a little dry. Maybe mix the coleslaw with the sauce tomake it taste more wet??? My bf said the clubhouse also needed a little more mayo. But when I tried it, thought it was good.Everything else was delish. I definitely recommended this place when your in town. Always friendly staff that make you feelwelcome :) Read more
Had such a lovley experience with wonderful staff! The portion sizes are great, I still had plenty left over to take home.... Definitely recommend the pulled pork, it was one of the best ive had recently plus I'm not usually a huge fan of coleslaw, but Ireally enjoyed it here. Would definitely come back again! Read more
