The drive-thru was "closed" even though people were answering at the speaker. They said to come in, it was pouring rain outside... and 30 people in line waiting when we got inside. Very poorly run location. We left and went through the drive-thru at the nextrest stop. Read more
I'm an O.T.R. trk drvr. Seems like the McDonald's on turnpikes & rest areas are over priced. I got 1 egg mcmafun. Cost 6 bucks.... No drink. 6 bucks. Way to much $. Read more
Nice place with friendly, fast service. Spicy crispy chicken sandwich was delicious.
They were so busy with the thruway and attempted to service everyone as fast as they could. The thruway doesn't have enough... stops so this stop was overload with customers. They did an awesome job Read more
I've never had an experience quite like this. I used the rest stop and ordered a diet coke for my husband. There were 3 people... in line and my family waited 15 minutes. The manager was standing at the front along with 2 employees, and no one seemed to bedoing anything. I asked the manager for the soda, as it was our only order. He apologized that the ice machine was broken. Myhusband got a flat warm soda after a 15 minute wait. Read more
No air conditioning on an 80° night. Flies on and around the entire counter area. There were even fly guts(or whatever you'd... call it)all over an old fashioned McDonald's hat that's hanging above where you pick up your food. Went outside to eat and theyhad a door propped open(probably just an invite for more fly friends)and there was trash at the picnic table area. The staffseemed friendly enough but none of them seemed to want to be there. The friend I was with ordered something very basic anddidn't get food until about 10 mins after mine...they weren't even going to take their order! It wasn't busy at all but you'dthink a bus just rolled in. I mean I'd probably go back because it's the only thing if you're looking for food but I may justuse the drive through next time because of the fly issue. From what I've learned, flies like it where it's dirty so I would hateto see what's behind the counter. I feel bad for the workers having to work like that and possibly having to answer questions orthe establishment getting negative reviews like this one. I do hope this fly issue is taken care of because it is definitely anissue. Management should have that taken care of asap. The food was great btw. That's why I gave 2?s and not only one. I had noissue with their customer service either. The flies are awful. There were literally 100s and I was surprised I didn't see onereview mentioning this. McDonald's needs to take note! Read more
We were on a road trip back to Long Island. Taking the N.Y.S.Thruway we were able to stop at a few rest areas.Personally,I was... beat and needed to eat.The rest area we stopped at had a McDonald's. The burger,fries and soda were just what I needed.Gave meenough energy to continue the rest of the way home. Read more
The worst McDonald's ever. The orders were backed up for 45 minutes. I ordered on the app in the parking lot and when I walked... in, it was a madhouse. Because of the wait, I walked out. I had a time schedule to keep and couldn't wait. So much for fastfood. Read more
