Lots of amenities and conveniences. Plenty of space in and outside the pools. The only issues were the room had a cracked toilet... seat, small toilet, and the additional "resort" fees. After paying $700 for two nights base with taxes, I think the toiletshould be better and there shouldn't be additional fees. Read more

Went for a nursing conference. Pretty great overall. But... rooms were to hot and u could not change thermostat as front desk... said . They gave us a fan which was nice, but it was still a little hot and needed to open sliding glass door on bottom floor atnight. Yikes is all I'm saying. Overall we felt safe....but still knowing this now I might ask for an upper room so we don'thave to worry about anything. Overall clean. Beds comfy. Safe feeling. Thx Read more

The staff was friendly and the rooms are nice. I have been going to Fairmont hot springs my entire life, however, I was... extremely disappointed that the pools were cold for 5 out of the 7 days of our stay. On the flip side, the water slide was alot of fun (even for adults)! Read more

For $230 per night you expect certain things, like hot water in your shower. We traveled from out of town and checked in around... 6. They closed the poolside bar at 8 pm and the pool at 10 pm. They used to keep the poolside bar open until midnight whenthey closed the pool. An increase in rates and a decrease in room quality and services offered at fairmont hot springs havenegatively affected the establishment. Read more

Spent a day in the pools and had dinner that evening. Dinner was good. The pools were okay. I guess this hot springs thing is... just not my thing. My wife enjoyed it though. We did not get a room so I'm not sure how that went. We were supposed to get aroom but they had no hot water, which is ironic at a hot springs. Anyway, I do not have a recommendation either way. Perhaps ifI would have stayed there for a night it would be different. Read more

I?m not one to take the time to write a review, but I was very disappointed in my stay. I have been to this hot springs numerous... times growing up, and I wanted to take my fiancé somewhere special for his birthday. I paid quite a bit of money and resortfees for a room comparable to a Motel 6. Not only was I informed by the front desk that housekeeping would not be stopping byduring our stay to refresh towels and make the beds, but the AC in our room didn?t even work. Mind you, this is the beginning ofJuly, and when we walked in it was 75 degrees in the room. Before going to the pools, we turned the AC on, and came back and itwas still 75. In the entryway of the bathroom, the carpet was coming up where it met the tile. There were multiple black stainson the carpet, and I didn?t even want to take my shoes off. The duvet to our comforter had a large brown stain on it. The roomwas hot, unclean, and the carpet needed to be replaced. They advertise as a resort, but I?ve stayed in higher quality rooms withbetter service at a much lower cost. Don?t waste your money. I will not be staying here again. Read more

The experience was great because our kids had a blast. The pools were super clean and not packed at all. The slide was great &... the outdoor Cafe was perfect for lunch. I would reccomend bringing your own towel because the ones they offer will take off alayer of skin and only cover 1 leg. The hotel itself was a little less than memorable. At check in we were not informed that theTV "guide" or "menu" doesn't work. When we called down to the front desk that our TV wasn't working they did send a maintenanceguy up quickly. He informed us we were supposed to be given a list of channels & we have to enter the channel by number. Thefront desk was not really informative or attentive about anything. The bathroom was smelly & musty. I had to wipe off allcalcium off the shower head because my kids started crying that the water was cutting them. For the price they charge a nightyou'd think the rooms would be a little more kept. We had dinner in one of the casual dining restaurants and it was just okay. The prices and options weren't the best. But our server was amazing & on it. Also the restaurant itself was clean. Of course wewill be back and will probably get a membership to use the pools but I wouldn't pay money to stay there again.
