Great old style pub atmosphere, welcoming and inviting with that cozy hometown feel. The beer selection was (draft) was good... and they also have a full spirits selection. Their lamb burger was the best I have ever had and I have had many a lamb burger. Perfectly seasoned and cooked to order. Super juicy and savory!. My wife's salad was also good and the portion was huge onlydrawback (TIP) is they drenched it with salad dressing so ask for it on the side. Service was friendly, courteous, quick andattentive. Great spot! I am typically skeptical of places that have a large menu, but our meals were delicious! I had the beer battered... prawns and husband had fish and chips. Really, really tasty. Fries were perfect . Cole slaw was perfect.. We also had theJim Beam Godfather to drink, also super good. Weight staff was friendly and prompt. We sat outside to enjoy the weather. Itwas great! I was very glad that I stopped at the Brown Lantern for lunch while in Anacortes. The weather was sunny and I could sit... outside. The wait staff were friendly and helpful. And the food! Best chili I have eaten in years. I ordered a small greeksalad, and when it arrived- I thought they brought me the large instead of a small salad- but it was the correct order. Fantastic local pub with great food, attentive servers, and an impressive listing of local brews and ciders. The fish tacos did... not disappoint, and the CBGB chicken sandwich had great flavor. Large portions, big enough to share, especially if you want appsor dessert. Read more
I had two great nights here while i was in town. It had some solid live music on the weekend as well. The drinks were made well,... the brother bartenders and everyone else there were a delight to be around and get served by. The food i had was very good andseemed fresh and quality. If you find yourself in need of a place to hangout and get some drinks and casual food, this is topnotch in the area. Read more
I really enjoyed my wrangler burger ! TRY IT !! My wife had the pulled pork which she enjoyed but the Cole slaw (which there was... plenty of) was warm and had a funny after tast so it didn't get eatin. Our waitress was nice enough but didn't refill my dietcoke . I think we spent 41 ish dollars including a 5 buck tip . Which in my opinion is fairly pricy for pub food but I think I'dcome back to try other dishes. Looks like it can be hit or miss judging by the reviews. I say today was a hit. Read more
Good food but a cold restaurant 5/5 Habi-tots + carne asada - adding the carne asade was great 5/5 Chili 3/5 Beer battered fish... tacos - the fish pieces were too large for tortilla, and the taco was missing some sort of cream 4/5 Single bathroom We alsoordered a sandwich to go. It eas extremely annoying that even though we dined in, they charged us a 4% to-go charge on theentire bill. A star was removed for this reason. Read more
