Hollandaise sauce was bland, the sausage gravy had no flavor other than a raw flower taste. Our waiter only took our order and... served us our food. He didn't check to see if we were ok with our food, didn't give us refills and I had to go up and ask forour bill. He was terrible I shouldn't have gave him the 5$ tip. Lesson learned, we will never go here again. Paid $50 for twogarbage meals. Read more

I would give it a 3.5 stars. Service was both friendly and professional. The fish in the Fish and Chips was excellent. Given... it's fried, it was surprisingly NOT greasy. The rest of the meal was ok..but do you see the dark green soggy leaf in my salad?Yeah, there were a few of those in there. However the iceberg lettuce was nice and crisp. Read more

I've never written a review on Google before, but I feel compelled to leave one. I ordered the biscuits and gravy, and the gravy... was clearly made with beef hotdogs instead of pork sausage. I don't know if it's better that they were all-beef hotdogs, orworse - because at least traditional hotdogs contain pork. I have never, ever experienced such an awful substitution for such asimple dish. I would not have ordered it had it been disclosed on the menu. Read more

We had sandwiches for lunch. I got a Monte Cristo with side salad and Stephen ordered a French Dip with fries. The wait staff... was friendly, but they seemed to be working in slow motion. We were seated then after 10 min. the menus showed up. It wasn'tlong after that we placed our orders. Just guessing, the kitchen had a problem with the amount of orders they needed toexpedite. After waiting for our food for 30 min. and having a ferry to catch, we asked for it to go. Our waitress obliged andgot the food packed up. The ferry is a 10 min drive yet the food was stone cold except for the au jus. Just a hunch, but I thinkthey forgot about bringing our order. It's a cute cafe but unfortunately one we will skip next time in Anacortes. Read more

We stopped by for brunch on the Friday of the 4th of July/Canada Day weekend. No wait. The restaurant is spacious and has bar... seating. They serve an all day breakfast which we ordered. The menu is varied and includes breakfast, salads, sandwiches, andmain entree. The service was friendly and prompt. Food came out quickly and hot. Portion size was more than enough. Stop by fora yummy breakfast or brunch if you?re in town. Read more

I didn?t expect to find avocado at a classic diner. It was a pleasant surprise and of course I had to order it. Really enjoyed... the scramble, though the hashbrowns were a tad too greasy and the waffle was chewy. Brewed coffee was good. Good service andlarge portions. Plenty of free parking around. Other places had waitlists for breakfast and I?m glad we ended up here. Wouldcome back if in the area. Read more

Good for solid American fare. Don?t expect fancy coffees or things like that but if you want honest food it?s good. Service is... good. It obviously caters to locals which is a good thing. Read more

Apparently I?m being told that there is some kind of new rule that unless you request sauces to dip your chicken strips & fries... in, you will be eating them dry! However your salad doesn?t get held to that stupid rule. This will end any future orders herefrom me! I would like to stop in any time invited to watch the manager or staff member to eat a to go container full of chickenstrips & fries dry. I will even pay for the order! Read more
