Worst El Pollo loco I have been to so far. My nachos hardly had cheese and was thrown together in box with no care. My BRC... Burrito had hard rice in it and my quesadilla taste burnt. The pico de gallo had only tomato missing the cilantro and onion.Employee started to debate with me about what pico de gallo is which they had no clue. The restaurant smell like cigarettesbecause were people smoking outside the restaurant and the employees were smoking outside restaurant as well which is notpermitted in Los Angeles County. Stopped by to have this for the first time as a quick dinner since my girlfriend requested it. Not bad service, just slow as we... were sitting in the drive through window for a good while when it wasn't really busy. I don't understand why they get upset when you want to buy 2 combos , 3 pieces . They keep pushing to sell 8 pieces, and on top... of that the lady that was selling got upset, she just insisted me to buy the 8 pieces. I had to go inside and tall to a managerjust to purchase 6 pieces ( 2 combos, 3 pieces) i love el pollo loco but their customer service is worst than home depot. Read more
I have reviewed Pollo Loco in the past in general. This time I will be more specific to this particular Pollo Loco and my... experience there. Pollo Loco is one of those fast food places where, really, you can't go wrong, no matter what you order. Mostof the food is much healthier too, at a fair price. On most of my trips to PL I favored the inexpensive $5.00 combos. Today, Idecided to go healthier. I ordered the Double Chicken Avocado Salad and it was delicious. In addition, nice to see staffcleaning tables between customers, keeping the place Covid safe. All in all, a good experience. My combo (I added a large drink)only cost me $10.00 and some change.
