This place has some phenomenal options for food and some great service. I can?t recommend the coffee as it is too acidic for my... taste. It could be good if you are going to drink it with some milk opposed to the creamers. The food however is top notch anddelicious. The spices and seasonings used through out the meals are rich and flavorful. The muffins and pastries are fluffy andtasty. Our waitress kept coming to check on us to make sure we were awesome. Everything about this restaurant is amazing!! The service and the food impeccable! We arrived early right when they opened so... there wasn't a wait! Our server was really sweet and professional. She brought our food out quickly and everything was hot anddelish! I got the New Orleans skillet and it did not disappoint! Although the beignets were a little heavy and thick forbeignets, they were still tasty! I loved the peach and strawberry preserves that came with it!! Oh and those biscuits and gravywere delicious too! The gravy tasted like it came from my granny's kitchen! The prices weren't bad either! This is definitelythe best breakfast in this area! 4-6 workers just standing at the front desk. They don?t make eye contact with people walking in, they ignored almost every... person for a few seconds. They make faces behind the customers backs as they walk by. There is at least one of them that didn?tdo anything the whole time we were waiting for a table. We only got 3 menus for a party of 5. The sweet peach tea and chicken and waffles were to die for!!! I can?t say enough about them! The peach tea was served in a HUGE... mason jar with a sugar rim and sliced peaches inside. The chicken and waffles were full of flavor and the waffles just meltedin my mouth! My daughter ordered that and let me have a bite. I wish I had ordered that! I had the breakfast burrito withsausage. It was good, but it could have been better if the sauce on top was spread throughout the burrito. The Bloody Mary wasso fun and delicious! I am going to give this place 5 stars for food, but 3 starts for service. The food was delicious, and my mimosas were amazing as... well. I built my own omelette, and it was very flavorful. Beignets were delicious with the dipping options. I was originallygoing to order crepes, honestly, that's why I chose this place, because I love crepes. But they ran out... Our waiter got ourorder, was really nice, but after that we haven't seen him. I had to stop someone else and ask for syrup for the waffles andwater refill. This place is a cute spot to get brunch. They have selective drinks especially their mimosas. They have their Bloody Mary. I got... the swamp tea which was so good. I ordered the huckleberry French toast and the partner ordered the shrimp and grits. Prettygood food l. Our waiter Alfred was super fantastic. Ensured our experience was great and he delivered it very well. Customerservice is also amazing here your well taken care by their staff. Everyone else in my group loved what they ordered and it all came out hot. I had the sausage link plate and it came out cold.... Two of us ordered eggs over-medium, and they came out very runny and under-cooked. Two of our group came in later than theothers, and while they were served coffee quickly, their order wasn't taken for quite a while. The service was good though andso was the coffee! Read more
Great service, great food, and a fun kitschy atmosphere. The huckleberry tea was the perfect semi-sweet accompaniment to my... omelet cooked to perfection and topped with cheese.
