You can?t go to California without hitting a regional favorite for ice cream? Salt & Straw! This unique chain has great seasonal... flavors and some classic ice cream flavors as well. This is a great opportunity for you to try something outside of your comfortzone when it comes to ice cream flavors! I make sure I go at least once every time I?m in Anaheim. This particular location isin Downtown Disney, so there is no parking and typically a long line. If you go one off- location of Disney they tend to be lessbusy! Overall great experience and worth the wait! Read more

Pumpkin bread with cream cheese icing is THE BEST FLAVOR EVER! I was lucky to be able to catch this flavor as a last chance... scoop from the previous month. It paired well with the fresh waffle cone (not all flavors do, in my opinion). I wish this flavorwas available all the time. I've been going to Salt & Straw ever since they opened their very first location in Portland, OR andthis was by far my most favorite flavor of theirs of all time! Read more

I took my wife here while we were walking around downtown disney before our dinner reservations. She wanted some ice cream so... she looked at their menu and saw that she wanted the Mint Chocolate Chip. At first we didn't know where the line was until wewalked to the other side and saw people in line. We didn't have to wait in line long and once we got inside, my wife was able toorder her ice cream in a waffle cone. The ice cream is pricer than other places but it's because of the custom flavor. We bothdidn't really like the ice cream flavor but the service we received here was good. Read more

Unique flavor combinations but be warned, it's pricey ice cream. Almost $100 for 8 of us. But absolutely delicious. Downtown... Disney must stop place. House made waffle cones smell amazing. Free samples before you choose your flavor. Read more

This place has good ice cream. Not "knock your socks off" good, but it gets a 5 star for friendly staff and super unique... flavors. For myself, I got the honey and cinnamon fried chicken which was very good. Definitely worth a revisit to try the otherunique flavors. Read more

If you like ice cream salt and straw is a great spot to checkout. The place smells amazing and the ice cream is rich and... delicious. You can get most any type of ice cream and topping either in a cone or a bowl. They also have tons of options forquantity. Read more

Service wasn?t super friendly, maybe because they?re always busy and probably tired. The scooper who served us was busy chatting... with his colleagues and didn?t seem to pay attention to us at all. No hello no thank you and bye. Ice cream was worth trying andtasty but service needs big improvement. Read more

Despite what the name might indicate, there is neither Salt, nor Straw being sold at this ice cream shop, so it is safe to... assume that the name is just alliteration for marketing purposes. With that said, the ice cream flavors are, as the urban youthmight say: bussin' bussin'. Every month they introduce new experimental flavors but even their year-round, regular flavors areamazing. This location is inside Downtown Disneyland, but the walk there is super easy. There's a bit of a line outside but thatis to be expected. The single scoop with the big waffle cones is more than enough for any person (the scoops are quite massive)so I'd recommend trying that first, and if you're still "hungry" afterwards, go back for 2nds. If you order two or three scoops, the whole thing might melt off before you even have time to say "Salt & Straw" and you might be needing an actual straw at thatpoint. Read more
