Really enjoyed the food on the side patio! The side patio was shaded and had nice ambulance, but you had to grab your own... pillows on the way out for your chair. I had the Shrimp Tacos, with a house salad and they were yummy. Read more
Servers bar tender were full of attitude last night. It's as if our presence was an inconvenience to the staff. Not impressed... and the bartender has served us before and been fantastic. The wait staff ignored us waiting a full 11 minutes to come sayhello. The night there was short as I didn't feel the place warranted our business with attitude and lack of service likethat. Will I be back? Likely, but not too quickly as this is not the first time a table server has displayed sub par serviceand an attitude like our presence is an inconvenience. To be fair I've had outstanding service and service from staff there inthe past many times. Just this is 2 in a row where our party has not felt welcome. Whereas down at the West Town 20 minuteslater welcome with a smile a laugh and a what can I bring you to drink all in the 1st 90 seconds. Read more
Been there several times. Great food, great specials and fantastic service. All of the servers seem happy and there are always... lots of them. The main thing is that all of the servers work together. If one of them comes by and sees an empty plate etc. they will pick it up. Very attentive servers, great service, nice atmosphere. Good, friendly service, speedy, big portion sizes. The flavour of every dish we tried was strong; mango salsa was so mango... forward on coconut shrimp tacos that it definitely tasted fresh. Wings are great and the flavour offerings are really good. Weliked that the spinach and roasted red pepper cheese dip had that added tanginess that made it stand out from other dips. Also,their house made blue cheese that accompany their chicken wings' celery and carrots is magical. Sweet, garlicky, and itdefinitely stands out from any other blue cheese we've tried. We ordered 1 app and 4 dishes which is a lot for 2 people (andbrought a lot of it home) but we really wanted to try so much and it was all delicious. Read more
They say its "Not your usual cafe" but its a normal traditional pub. I went here for an afternoon drink and some food. Came... in and was ignored at the entrance. It wasn't busy and everyone at the bar and one couple eating. Bartender was on the phonelooked and me and then walked into the back to finish her phone call. I made eye contact (as the sign said "let them knowyou are here") No hand sign, "be with you in a moment" or acknowledgement attempted by staff. I realized right away this isprobably what the level of service is going to be and left for better service. Read more
Just what you'd expect from an English pub, casual and relaxed, but with upscale food. Good selection of beers and wine. Two... outdoor patios. Very pleasant staff; received a friendly greeting and were told to sit where we like and she'd bring us ourmenus. Service was great... We asked to delay our food being brought out by half an hour and that was no problem - it arrivedjust when we asked for it. All the classics were on the menu plus some modern classics as well. Great service, cold beers, good food. A nice and chill cozy vibe. Plenty of TVs to watch sports on but also good layout and... seating for conversation. Specials on different days but the same great service and consistent quality food. Read more
