About 12:30 on a Tuesday afternoon, my wife and sister-in-law went in for a 3 lunch take-out. 2 grilled halibut and 1 breaded... haddock 1 with fries and 2 Caesar salads and a dessert. About $75 (!!) (It's been a while since I've had fish and chips, soI don't know what's reasonable. That seems pricy for what we got.) I have never thought of describing fish as "tough" before,but that was the only word to describe it. It didn't have the consistency of fish and pieces had to be severed with a metalfork. There was certainly nothing flakey about it. It was edible and it likely had some nutrient value and I was hungry, so Iate it. My wife expressed the same opinions and regretted spending that amount on something so dismal. My S-I-L ate a bit ofhers, bagged it up along with the fries (she made no comment about them) declared the lot to be inedible, agreed the fish wastough and went inside to find something else. That was my first and likely only experience with HHF&C, and likely the last. Maybe it was an off day. Definitely not a good one. Read more

Been to this place after a long time. No busy at all for Friday evening but people getting in and out for takeouta. Only person... serving was polite and pleasant. Food did not take time and freshly cooked. We ordered Haddock and chips with Greek Salad. Willrecommend this place for occasional fish & chips. They do have plenty of other food options including desserts. Plenty ofparking available. Read more

Not that great. We ordered 2 haddock and chips for takeout. Fries were hot but soggy with no salt on them. Fish was ok but not... great. No cutlery in bag, no napkins no salt. Not worth the 40$ we spent on 2 meals. Will not return. Read more

Customer service was incredible. I called ONCE and before I could call them back to place my order... They called me! Food was... delicious. The batter was Golden brown and flaky. The Onion rings were also perfect. Not too crispy but caramelized and melt inyour mouth. Huge portions as you can see. We will be back!! Read more

Special for the fish was priced to smile for. The location is great and close to lots of other stops needed from groceries to... adult beverages. You are served at the table which was a pleasant surprise. No wifi for anyone looking to eat and get work donehere. Staff were friendly and prompt to get things ordered. Overall a good spot for the fish craving. Read more
