First time at this location. Golf link road Ancaster. Sat at the bar and the bartender "Rob" was amazing, great hospitality and... welcoming. Had couple of shots and beer, plus the wings that were so fresh and delicious with blue cheese sauce. Highlyrecommend and will be visiting more often. First time there, amazing experience. Some of the best customer service not just with my group but also seeing them put care... into other guests as well, going so far to explain what exactly certain ingredients were in their meal and how they add to theoverall meal. Jack Astor's, while a tad on the pricey side, is delicious. We are never disappointed when we eat at this location. Their... burgers are juicy and flavourful and big enough to be a meal without a side - their fries are really good (try the sweet potatoones!). I usually go for their Mexican Rice Bowl. It's flavourful with just the right amount of Mexican spices. The servingsize is generous and leftovers heat up really well the next day! Now, their "bowl" drinks are huge, but oh so good! My group of ~16 people had lunch here today (6/17/2022), everything was great, got seated and ordered quickly which was very... nice. After the food was served the issues started where the group was split between 2 tables, the "older" group and the"younger" group. We in the younger group table were very much ignored throughout our entire 1.5 hour stay which dampened thegood food (although a bit greasy). I understand 16 people is a lot to service, and I have no idea how servicing works in theestablishment, but we received no check ins or chances to even see the server during our entire stay. I waited roughly 1 hourfor a single water refill after catching the waitresses attention who was checking in on the "older" group. As we are payingfor the bill, roughly 20 minutes of waiting later, I had to leave and asked to pay the bill with cash asap. Unfortunately thewaitress does not know how to count change and likes to round the bill up. I was too fed up to correct it and left as it was notworth causing a scene. I will not be coming back for sure, and hope others have a better experience than I have. The serversname was something similar to Merissa, though I cant say for sure. Read more

Took the wife and kids out for dinner to Jack Astor’s. We have been here many times. Almost always a good experience. Our... server was Eric who did an excellent job! Our meals were all very good but my son and I shared the wings he got and we both feltreally sick the next day and spent the majority of it in the washroom. My wife and daughter didn’t have wings and were fine.My other question is did you change your pan bread?? It just wasn’t the same! If you did, change it back pls! We decided to go to jack Astors’s in Ancaster. I got the wings and she got the steak. Both of our meals were great. The... service was good. The food was perfectly made to our liking.
