So anytime I have ordered an appetizer, it always comes before the mason.. lol not here .. it was terrible. The main dish... California chicken. Save your money just awful dry, oh and it took over half hour to get our food and the restaurant was empty!No questions as to why we didn?t eat the appetizer? Just ignored the situation. The wait staff was great. No problem there. The food on the other hand? Mediocre at best, but clearly the chef has more... confidence than ability based on the prices. Don't get me wrong, i'd be willing to pay high prices for good quality. but thewaitress told me the fries were frozen. I'm not paying $22 for McCain fries. The menu has no fluidity and is a low budget menumasquerading as a high end restaurant. I ordered the schnitzel as it was one of the only menu items that wasn't frozen first.But the chef must have forgotten to use seasoning and only noticed at the end and coated my whole meal in dried rosemary. it wasas if i was munching on little twigs the whole time. And so SO many raw onions. Also zucchini was undercooked. based on theirdescription (of a "renaissance symposium") they were banking on selling a specific atmosphere (since clearly the menu wasn'ttheir top priority) but even that was severely lacking. Had to edit this after going back again. Ended up with food poisoning. Enough said. Previous review: Decent coffee, mediocre... egg Benedict's. The hollandaise sauce was from a package, we could taste the uncooked powder and it was very salty. Somehow theegg whites were overcooked with a weird texture, but the yolk was still runny. Father?s Day brunch was very busy but through it the amazing staff were working really hard to keep everyone happy. Management... may want to consider staffing a bit more on those mornings to help with wait times as they seemed a bit understaffed (onlyreason for 4 stars instead of 5). Great place for some Greek vegetarian recipes and a very nice patio

The atmosphere of this place was great, with Beautiful art murals from Botticelli and Raphael all over the walls. The service... was very good and we didn't have to wait at all. I ordered the California Chicken Sandwich with Sweet Potato fries- the frieswere delicious, but the sandwich itself tasted somewhat bland and the guacamole used on it did not taste fresh. I wasn'timpressed with the taste for the price. However, my friend got the bruschetta flatbread, and it was incredibly delicious. I feellike certain menu items are excellent and others aren't, but it would be pretty expensive to figure out which ones are good. Read more

I really enjoyed my dinner at Symposium. I ordered the French Onion Soup to start and the Portuguese Chicken for the main dish.... Both were quite tasty. I also had the Sky High Carrot Cake for dessert and had to take half of it home, it was that big. Ourserver was attentive and friendly. The restaurant was nicer on the inside than I imagined it would be from driving by it.Overall, a delicious dinner and a nice evening out. Recommended! Read more

We were randomly looking for a place to sit and have a cup of coffee... nothing to but just coffee and an ambiance. And this was... a pleasant surprise. We not only found good coffee but a couple of appetizers and a killer seat at the patio. Especially with itbeing cloudy and a bit breezy... perfect combination to relax a bit after a drive.. food was absolutely awesome... Read more
