A lot of unique dishes I don’t see on the menu in Anchorage, there were a lot I wanted to try out but my stomach is only so... big. Really fun place that looks great and has nice lighting. Went for early dinner and our food was so piping hot and tasted sogood. Breading was fairly mild and the chicken was so juicy and soft. Thanks Robert for recommending the roasted shishitopeppers as a pairing with the chicken, it worked out great. Blueberry cobbler was perfection with bourbon ice cream, just wishthere was more crumble. Overall awesome experience. ??????? Read more

Ate here for the first time today with my kids. I got the Tennessee spicy chicken sandwich and it was okay. It looked delish... but as soon as I started eating it the breading would fall right off making a huge mess and making it hard to eat. The chickentenders did the same thing, breading fell right off. The sauce on the sandwich was bomb tho. What I did enjoy was the blueberrycobbler, it’s to die for! It’s pretty expensive to eat here too and the food doesn’t seem to justify the price IMO. Thewaitress was super nice tho and attentive so I’d definitely give her 5 stars! I’d come back for the cobble or cheese curdsbut that’s probably it. Read more
This was my very first time but I had a great experience here. With great food, caring and attentive staff, and amazing... atmosphere, this place goes the extra mile. Even the food presentation was good! Everything looked well made and cared for. Weenjoyed every bite, even my super picky daughter! The Hot Mess was one of the best poutine we’ve found in Alaska, though portion size for $11.95 seemed off. Chicken was... average. BBQ sauce for the mini shack costs an extra $0.50. My partner enjoyed their popcorn chicken. Average food andexperience. Read more
The chicken was raw in the middle on multiple pieces. Got macaroni and it’s a 5/10, Popeyes is better if that puts it into... perspective. Also ordered mashed potatoes and gravy, 7/10, the gravy was a little different than what I was expecting but itwasn’t bad. Read more
If you want quality chicken sandwich, this is the place to go! Even at a busy brunch service, our food arrived in a reasonable... amount of time and although there were only two of them, we never felt ignored. The service and atmosphere here are excellent. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door and promptly seated. The food... and drinks came out quickly after being ordered. We ordered several items from the menu so that we could get a good sampling,and everyone was excellent, except for the Hot Mess, which had the potential to be amazing but wasn't (see pictures). Iordered the Shack Tennessee Hot Chicken sandwich, and it's the best Tennessee Hot Chicken I've had outside of Nashville. I'lldefinitely be back to try more items from the menu! Read more
