The girl who cashed me out just now asked me if I wanted to leave a tip, I gave her a 10% tip & she made an unauthorized 15%... tip. Didn?t give me a receipt until I asked. Didn?t come back to the window, so I had to ask her coworker what her name was. Thegirl proceeded to ask the girl who made my coffee what her name was, as if she didn?t know her own coworkers name! Her responsewas ?MIA? So not only did she make an unauthorized tip on my card but she also lied to me about her name. I do no appreciatebeing lied to, I do no appreciate someone stealing my money, and I will not be returning to this establishment ever again.Regardless, it?s the morality of what she did that made me upset. I don't make it to Anchorage very often but when I do, Common Grounds is my go to coffee stop. The staff is nice and the... coffee's are hot. I hate lukewarm coffee. When I ask for extra hot at Common Grounds it comes out just that way. Thank you. Read more
I love Common Grounds but the last few times I've come to the Old Seward location it hasn't been the same experience. I ask for... a 32 ounce pink lotus and have gotten smaller. I would like to politely ask them if I was charged for the smaller drink or the32 but they dont give me a chance to. Most of the servers are AWESOME which is why I keep going back aside from it being convenient. However, of course one of them... has messed up twice on my order. This evening, I said no to whip cream and she not just put whip cream in my drink, but she PUTWHIP CREAM IN FLOWING OUT LIKE CRAZY WHIP CREAM. I did complain right then and there that I did not want whip cream, she didn'tseem sorry, she said it but it didn't sound like an oops sorry. I've been there over 10 times and it has always been greatservice until this one girl. Long brown hair. May refuse her service. Read more
