We found FOUR bugs ???? ???????????? Came here today around 7:40pm. Didn’t wait at all. Ordered some sashimi and 2 rolls.... Sashimi is not that fresh and rolls are ok. I even wrapped a sashi with one of the lettuce. After ate half of the lettuce, myhusband found 4 bugs on that piece that I just swallowed ???????????? We told the waitress that we find some bugs. We show herthe green one first, and her first reaction was to kick it off. she took the plate away and come back, then came back and saidthat she can give us some discount. We asked the manager to come out. He said he didn’t see the plate. After showing him thepictures we took, he said “dinner is on the house, is that ok?” And I ask him “ We didn’t come here to find box for afree dinner. should you at least apologize?” Then he apologized. I truly believe the food safety is the minimum standard for arestaurant. And apology should be the first reaction in this kind of situation. Hopefully they learn a lesson. On the outside, it appears to be a pretty Americanized Chinese restaurant, but the food here is actually good. Tastes authentic... and even though the menu is absolutely enormous, we stuck with a few classic recipes and they tasted great. Would recommend toanyone looking for Chinese food in Anchorage. Best Asian food in Anchorage! For real, we came from LA and have a low expectations on food in Alaska because our priority to... enjoy the scenery and the place. Went here after we landed on Thanksgiving night. Surprisingly, they opened and I made a rsvplast minute telling them that we were coming in 1 hour. We ordered bunch of stuff, family style. We ordered what peoplerecommended and what the waitress recommended. Our favorite is the Crunch chicken with chili flakes, we ordered twice for thatdish because we really enjoyed it. Mapo tofu was just OK, won't recommend it. The rest was so good! And their Mala pepper /szechuan pepper was legit too because our lips were numb. That's how you know they have a legit spices. We also were seated in aprivate area. If one day we are coming here to alaska again, I'd definitely come back again! Read more
Always a wonderful experience. Fresh fish, great rolls-love the Pink Lady Roll. Ramens are good. Their shrimp pad Thai is one... of the best in Alaska! Lots of options! Also their sushi boats are AMAZING and such a conversation piece if doing an at homeevent! Read more

Pretty good place for both the kids and grownups in our family. Our favs are juicy pork dumplings, butter squid, and homestyle... pork with leeks and jalapenos (????????????). Plus we like the complementary miso and salad. Read more
