This place has a very solid, extensive menu with a couple less common items that immediately jumped out at me. I love how you... can buy the curries separately; I did so with the rangoon curry and it was phenomenal. It had amazing flavor and consistency. Ialso had the mixed grill -- all around, it had very good flavors, but some inconsistent cooking. Most of the chicken pieces werepretty dry, but one was undercooked to the point that I couldn't eat it. The beef was actually quite tender and the shrimp wasnearly perfect. Medium spice level across the board was pretty hot coming from somebody with a good heat tolerance. I wouldn'twant it much hotter. The Khajuri naan was one of the things that jumped out at me and it followed the same theme: great flavor,sweet and a little rich, but the texture was quite tough. It needed to be dipped in curry. Portions were huge and very generousfor the prices paid. There's a lot of good going on at Namaste, but there are barriers preventing it from being a great place.I'd still be happy to come back for more of those flavors. Read more

I?m not sure why this place doesn?t have a better star rating. It?s a wonderful option for vegans and vegetarians! Visited for... the third time and the food and service were excellent. Can?t wait to have dinner at Namaste again! Read more

Great menu selections and very aromatic flavors. I love that you can order just sauces on the side for a very reasonable price,... which made the meal much more fun. We are visiting from out of town and stopped in with others who are not familiar with thisregional food, but the sauces selection let us all try a lot of different flavors. I also have to mention the the portion sizesare absolutely what Alaska needs. Also, fantastic service provided in this family-run business. Best bang for your buck inanchorage. Read more

Awesome place, great taste and even better service. This was our first meal in Alaska and it was nice to find some familiar food... to start with after a longish flight. We were a bit short in time and they were very considerate and suggested dishes they canserve quickly. We got everything in less than 5-10 min making the checkout super smooth. Huge portions, enormous menu, delicious food. We got 1/2 order of momos, a veg thali, and a lamb vindaloo and had enough for 2... for dinner plus leftovers for lunch the next day. Definitely recommend this to anyone! Read more
