I love diners, and this one is my favorite in town. It's clean, has a classic diner aesthetic, and the traditional breakfast... always satisfies. The bacon is thick and the portion overall is filling. Some other diners in town can seem dirty and aged,Sami's is the best option to guarantee the environment and service won't gross you out haha Read more
Best Greasy Spoon in Anchorage! Such a diner delight, this diner was a hit. Great atmosphere with all the bells and whistles... that makes greasy spoons special to me. Great menu choices with pretty reasonable prices for huge food portions. Only negativewas being out of apple pie. I can't dink them for that! Tater tots were on point just as the onion rings. Amazing grilledcrust on both sandwiches. Ice cream was phenomenal in looks and taste. I will make sure to be a regular and bring friends. Agreasy spoon is a term of endearment in my eyes. Nice place to coax your nostalgia. Decent menu with a good spread between breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For what the have in... abundance for options they lack a bit in quality. Everything tasted alright but it wasn't the best in town. The customer serviceis probably what keeps this place running because they have some excellent waitresses who are quick and friendly. Love coming to Sami?s for a quick diner meal. Each time, I?m impressed and love the friendly service. They always bring a... pitcher of Diet Coke, which I very much appreciate. The food is good and flavorful (anything with corned beef and roast beef aremy favorite) and the prices are fair. Read more
