Great pizza. In my opinion best in town. And the fat dude with a short beard, acting what seemed to be like a manager was rude... for no reason. I didn't like that. But everybody else was amazing and very friendly. This was my first bad experience I've hadwith them within countless orders. Read more
Folks, all I wanted was a Hawaiian Pizza. But somehow, I got a "Hawaiian Pizza" with less pineapple than you can buy at the... Anchorage farmer's market in February... Perhaps it can be blamed on "supply chain" issues, but I suspect it's merely a lack offinesse, as the presence of Canadian Bacon was also severely lacking. Please see attached pictures. Should have ordered the 3topping pizza from Dominos for $7.99? Long story short: I ordered a Canadian Bacon Pizza, and got a cheese pizza with hints ofCanada. P.S. This review is for Jewel Lake Uncles Joes. I've also ordered from Huffman and am always pleased... That said, Ihaven't actually ordered a Hawaiian Pizza from them. Delicious food! Only problem is the prices are a little to high and the quality depends on their general mood. If you go in and... you're getting bad vibes, don't order! You will be disappointed! But if they're in a good mood and the vibes are good, you willget a delicious pizza! Read more
I?ve tried gluten free pizza?s around town, and this is the best crust (gluten free crust, I don?t prefer the cauliflower) for... the best price in town! It was SO good and filled that itch for a delish pizza. Read more
I'm from the Northeast where the basic pizza is typically considered "gold standard". And i have to stay, this place wasn't bad... at all. I mean, can you find better pizza in NY and NJ? Sure of course, but this is really not bad at all especially at theopposite end of the US. Their service is reasonably fast too. Pizzas are freshly made because they have a good turnover. Theirbasic salad was decent too. The gyro was just so-so, but i don't hold it against them, after all, this is a pizzeria, not aMediterranean restaurant. Read more
I have no idea what has changed. This is not the 4/5 star ratings im ucustomed too at uncle joes. Came in for a pick up 2... minutes past when the order online said it would be ready and I still waited 20 more minutes. The whole time I could see part ofmy order just sitting on top of the oven. The pizza of uncle joes is almost unmatched locally and for the quality and serviceI'm usually ok with upcharge included for such quality. However today was not that day at all. The pizza was soggy and the boxwas wet on one of them. I'm not the type to stop going after 1 bad experience, however this time might be the exception. Staffwas talking about staying up late partying and the consumption of cannabis loudly. It was not the experience I've had with unclejoes the last 10 years and I hope they fix it fast. Read more
